This sucks so much. d%#*!@t.
Right away when DefameGate began, I shook my head and laughed through the entire thing. At least in CryGate we actually...did...something...sort of.

I am hopeful Diggs will learn from this, and it will help him begin to exercise some restraint in his life. I think the most important thing is for him to see that he was wrong. People will piss you off, or try to, and you have to accept it and learn not to be bothered by it.

The attributes that make a successful pro athlete are often not applicable in life outside of sports.

So, I think the girl not accepting a settlement could be a good thing in the long run.

I’m not gonna victim blame. But my goodness, if you are a victim in that type of situation, you at minimum gotta be getting photo evidence of that happening. Thats the part that’s fishy to me.

There’s no way Diggs choking and slapping her wouldn’t have left some physical proof.
Oh no doubt..not victim blame at all.. as thier are legitimate abused and battered woman out there who were harmed and I don't for one second condone any violence against women. It just all appears as if he fired her.. she got angry then it's said there was a built up text exchange over money...

Initially i thought that as well.. however his attorney currently is in dedham court right now and reportedly his arrangement is getting pushed back to March.. also it mentioned they are working on a compensation agreement with the accuser.
I already addressed the compensation part. I don't think they are working on compensation with the accuser. But I only believe that because the report says they were trying to communicate with the accuser and offer compensation PRIOR to her requesting that police tell the Diggs people to stop all contact with her or her people. Then she pressed charges.

But again, lawyers can talk regardless.

He’s got a bunch of stuff in his past suggesting he makes dumb impulsive decisions. This feels in line with that.

But doesnt make me think he’s a scumbag I’d rather not have in the Pats.

This will blow over

Please enumerate the supposed "stuff in his past suggesting he makes dumb impulsive decisions"...

Yeah. I’m getting that impression too. It’s more just common sense. If something really physically happened, you owe it to yourself to be making sure you get full proof of what happened physically.

Otherwise we’re left to this messy scenario.

Where does it say he fired her?

I don't. Because you are a weirdo if you specifically challenge my assertion that he is a POS with name calling.

If you can't even respond to me without name calling you are absolutely a weirdo.

I encourage you to follow the block chain of replies. Simply click on the names in the quotes to follow them to who started what.

You'll see that these weirdos immediately went to town on name calling me because I took the position that he's a piece of ****.

Of course they're no where to be found not even a half out later now that the police report suggest what any rationale person could have predicted. Sounds about right.
The name callers who you call weirdos. I think I get it now. You're a troll. Buh bye.

They will pay her; she'll drop the charges. Pretty obvious how it ends. Which will leave what actually happened to be an unanswered question. Seems like there are no witnesses, and I assume no cameras.

2nd time Diggs off the field issue has surfaced in this season. He could have avoided both with better decision making.

The NFL can investigate and place Diggs on the CEL - Commissioners Exempt List thereby ending his season.

You have to wonder why Diggs and Attorneys could not bury this before news broke? Allegedly, the assault happened on 12/2/25 and here we are today 28 days later. In 16 days Diggs will be in court to be arraigned and enter a plea.

This is going to impact his contract for next season.

I am not sure how the pats extend him after this story . It's too risky . There might be some clauses and diggs might need to take on another incentive an playtime based contract with clear out provisions for off field issues .

Cowboys Released Diggs CB
I'm not surprised. He absolutely sucked at CB when the ball wasn't thrown right to him and was one of the most overrated players in the last decade. Him getting the contract he got is a perfect example of why contracts have inflated so quickly.

Better decision making?
First off, he hasn't been proven guilty of anything.
Secondly, no other WR wanted to come here, and Diggs impact has been significant.
What better decisions could we have made and keep in mind he has not been found guilty of anything).

Where does it say he fired her?
The report indicated that their arrangement was coming to end before the season and she wanted full season pay and she also said she had no where to go and that is why she needed the money before leaving his house.

Brown is a Patriot. It's happening.

If you're mad about it you better get good with it now.

And if it doesn't happen? Then what? You'll never admit to being wrong.

It will not..

Need to see the facts first.

This is the softest thing I've ever seen. Disputed nothing, cried and said bye lol.

Of course that's what you always do. You should put me on ignore. Stop wasting our time.
