Re Lowe: Still not an NFL starter but I think he's demonstrated this year he's more than an adequate backup. Good coaching helps a lot.
Agreed. And while Campbell was durable in college, it remains to be seen if he will stay durable in the NFL. Is this injury just bad luck or the start of a trend? I'd be inclined to give Lowe a nice little pay bump to stick around for most of the duration of Campbell's rookie deal while we wait to find out.

He has been serviceable, and was quite good in his first start.
Sunday night was a different story. I keyed in on him a lot, and he wasn’t good.
Just my opinion
I saw more pressure up the middle.. again I'm not saying he's an all pro by any stretch.. but he wasn't the primary issue Sunday.. just In my viewpoint I saw far to much pressure from the interior the right side.. of the C.

And we must all hope that Campbell does not have lingering issues he has played well as a rookie and I want him and Drake to be together for a long time..

It was a freak injury.
It’s the NFL, **** happens.
Trent Williams missed 7 games last year. He’s the best LT in the last 20 years, and will ultimately go down as one of the very best to ever play the position.
Campbell will fine and will have a long career.

IF they're going to get it done: they should do it before seasons ends. So Lowe and his agent don't get any ideas. Really wanted BC's LT Ozzy Trapilo last year and Chicago took him in the Second: he's Starting now. Aireontae Ersery is another Guy thats' Starting for the Texans. Some Teams got some decent Young Offensive Tackles last Draft good class.

On without a doubt he will. I was only saying that out a cautiously optimistic viewpoint. Vrabel even said when he got hurt he IRd him to protect him from himself as he's such a gamer! Love Campbell and love his tenacity.

Saw B brown was extended... depth move?

He's not out for the year but it's a combination of it's still a serious injury, rehab, ect. And the Fact lowe is playing well. What makes you think Vrabel is going to rush his stud LT back and ruin him like Shanny did to RG3???
High Ankle Sprains don't take longer than 4 weeks to heel. He should be good for the playoffs. If anything, he'll be our healthiest offensive lineman.

Agree

Not sure how old you are, but the standard is pretty low today. There isn't one team I like. Regarding the SNF crew, Mike Tirico says weird **** and Chris Collinsworth like clockwork choses one player a week and declares him "the best in the NFL". Broadcasting crews today aren't what they used to be 25+ years ago.
Working with Mike ChatGPTirico must be exhausting.

Tirico: *says some Ai generated nonsense that has nothing to do with anything*

Collinsworth: *let's try to engage the audience listening to Tiricoslop* Sure, this guy's one of the best in the NFL at *thing*

There's no color guy better in tv at breaking down plays and coverages for people to understand easily than Collinsworth.

Is that Drake screaming at the end? Lmao that caught me way off guard

What I fear most about this move is that it might indicate the front orifice's satisfaction with the current talent along the IOL...
This is a reasonable fear.

I think that it is a less than that. They may want to believe that they have a base IOL that they can improve upon with the idea of adding a LG and either extending or upgrading Onwenu. so, they start the 2026 team with 4 plus hope for Wallace at RG and add from there. At least they start with 5 that think can be OK and play as part of an NFL quality OL.
=========
I HOPE that they add a top LG. Others want a top C. In any case, we need a vet or two for competition play a Dat 2 Draft pick.

Insta suggested this to me: at least one Ratbird fan saw this coming. [Warning: this might be cringe.]

Here's a pro tip.

When something is bad, it's bad.

When something is good it's good.

You can continue to insult and gaslight me all you want but it doesn't change the fact that when I said he sucked he sucked.

You will find this hard to believe but when he went off in the 4th quarter, you guessed it, yes indeed the commentary was how awesome he was playing.

Wow who would have thought. To react appropriately in real time to what you're seeing. What a concept.

It's not me insulting anyone. It's you people continuing to throw fits whenever there's any signs of adversity. Grow up.
You keep missing the MASSIVE difference between wow Drake is playing poorly right now and Drake Maye Sucks. The first one is totally fair and a valid thing to say especially if in real time he isn't playing up to his standards. The 2nd one ignores the fact that right now Maye is the most valuable QB in the league and it's not particularly close. He is giving us 60$ million QB play at 10 million a year cap hit. Overall this year he has been fantastic not he sucks. That's the problem people have with what you said not that you can't criticize bad play.

And you and everyone else keep missing the thousands of times I said how awesome he's doing.

Probably because the most important thing to these weirdos is to gate keep others fandoms.
