As far as I can remember. Perhaps it’s like @mike_usagisan said, where Lowe was their pure LT backup and Bryant was their pure RT backup and they didn’t really have a “swing tackle”. So when Campbell went down and Lowe became the starter, they didn’t really have a guy to take over as backup LT. Which feels kinda short-sighted, but I’m just some guy on his couch. So I guess from that line of thinking, they’d think Munford is better suited to backup both T spots vs Bryant who could only cover one.
Weird seeing how they're playing up the Giants as underdogs, like New England is Kansas City or a team like that. Even stranger is having the Patriots being in this position, especially for a team that hasn't even started playing its best football yet.
