It's easy, and only takes a few moments.YouTube has a block that offers the user the ability to "Allow Embed" - if that's disabled, it returns the above. There's no way around it, unfortunately.I thought it might be one of the browser extentions I run that's causing it, but I opened up pages here with a fresh/clean profile in Edge and still got it. Just wondering if anyone knows of a way to fix it, or is this how YouTube embeds appear to everyone.
Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.
You want me to rough em up? *taps fist*YouTube has a block that offers the user the ability to "Allow Embed" - if that's disabled, it returns the above. There's no way around it, unfortunately.
Are you seeing "Video Playback Disabled On Other Websites", or are you seeing "Error 153 Video Player Configuration error"?I thought it might be one of the browser extentions I run that's causing it, but I opened up pages here with a fresh/clean profile in Edge and still got it. I haven't looked at it, although it is annoying. There's a plugin installed that handles the embed, but just outputs the same code YouTube uses from the URL pasted in the window. And if the Video author on YouTube has blocked embeds, that's generally where the issue lies. This will probably be something I'll dig into over the offseason to find a workaround, but I agree, it's aggravating.lol I was just looking at that Stack Overflow thread (and posted it before I noticed someone else had ).
How far down this rabbit hole have you gone in terms of the solutions there?
Here's a "workaround" from YouTube to show the thumbnail image but it's a bit of extra effort to post it's why I haven't bothered with it.

This thumbnail URL is https://img.youtube.com/vi/qLBGJPw-dSM/maxresdefault.jpg
Change qLBGJPw-dSM to whatever the video ID is for your video
