1 more loss may do KC in. At 10-7 they lose a lot of tiebreakers (Bills, Jags)
Especially if that loss is against the Texans

They're almost surely done at 10-7, don't see anyway the Bills don't get at least 3-3 to finish at 10-7 with tiebreaker.,

Jaguars only need 3 more to get to 10-7 with tiebreaker if the Chiefs drop another and they've still got to play the Titans twice and the Jets, just needs one of Texans/Chargers and the AFC North to get there and they're dead.

Basically win out and they'll get in lose a game and they need a miracle.

Dallas is not a good football team, by the way, folks.
I’m not so sure about that anymore, a really good offense and with the defensive moves the defense has approved, with that offense the defense just needs to be above average, however they may have dug to big a hole to crawl out of to make the play-offs

That defense is not above average. They've got a passable front 4, and that's about it. I present Xavier Worthy wide open for 40-whatever yards.

They most certainly aren't a bad football team.
They can score with anyone and defense is playing much better.
They are a good football team as far I'm concerned.
Maybe not a SB contender, but they are a good team.

I am perfectly secure in the Patriots ability to defend a WR screen and an inside zone run.

All that's left is PI bait.
I do not believe them to be the Pats equal all things considered, but they would have a good chance to win and I just don't want to play with fire. I and everyone else for the most part got on the 'KC isn't that good train' last year after a bunch of close wins.

They were 15-2 and only a 59+ point differential to show for that impressive record. They were clearly a very lucky team that was much worse than their record said. Everyone who claimed that was right. And we all enjoyed it when it caught up to them and they got blown out by a clearly better team.

Now they are 6-6 with a +73 point differential. They have lost 6 games by a single score to 6 winning teams. Even if they aren't all amazing they are all decent at least. They are better than their 6-6 record suggest. If you see a team that is 6-6 you think they are mid. KC is better than mid. People are enjoying watching things not go their way and happy to see them fall on their face (me included). But they are not an average team,

They are clearly an above average team that is much better than the 6-6 suggest. Frankly they are better than the 7-4 Jags. The 6-5 Steelers and Ravens and 7-4 Chargers IMO. I know they lost to some of these teams. But the NFL is such a small sample size. I think if they were to play each team 10 times they win all those series.

Frankly I believe this KC team to be more or less equal to last years KC team... just they don't have a horse shoe up their ass and things the last quarter have not gone their way. Both teams IMO just looking at them feel like 11-6 teams give or take. KC last year massively over shot that. KC this year will under shoot that almost certainly.

Chase back too. No Higgins tho

If their defense plays like they did against us I like their chances.

Last year is last year.
This year is this year.
6-6 most certainly not 'above average'. They also lost to the Jags, who you say they're better than.

The nostalgia and rose-colored glasses people have for history is clouding the here and now reality for so many people.

Wonder how long of a leash Zac Taylor has

Well do you think KC was as good as their 15-2 record suggested they were last year after the regular season? Did that team look and feel like how you imagine a 15-2 team should?

Not really, but it's not like they were 6-6 either. They were a 13-4-talent-level team that got some lucky breaks along the way.

But they were still 15-2, and proved it in the playoffs. Wins matter, no matter how you get them. Sorry, they just do. So do losses.

And the QB might be on the backside of his prime, as well. Another case of history clouding judgement. Just because Brady played to 45, doesn't mean every QB will. Russell Wilson was still awesome at 30 too. By the time he was 32, Seattle was already trying to shop him. That's a far more common blueprint.
