Same people that called the season doomed when Drake sailed a few balls in the preseason, considered us the unquestionable Super Bowl favorite after starting 9-2, and are now back to thinking we’ll lose the rest of our remaining games.

They literally drive themselves crazy living life like this. Not good for your health.
I don't think that is really true. I think most people were thinking along the same lines more of less. That being this team at 9-2 and how they were playing were in the mix with the top of the AFC but not clearly better or worse than anyone.

They also probably felt if they got the first round bye and HFA they'd have the best statistical chance to make the super bowl, but still not more likely than not to make it overall. Somewhere below 50% to make but higher than the % of other teams if they got the bye. Which i think is fair.

They also believe, and rightfully so we are living on a razors edge with our depth are certain positions, one being LT. Frankly even with Campbell hopefully returning for the playoffs i still have serious concerns with how this effects us. They can maybe afford to lose 1 game of the remaining 5. Without maybe Campbell and Wilson for the rest of the season that is going to be hard.

Even with HFA vs the Bills in a few weeks, without those 2 lineman IDK how i feel about their chances of winning that one. And i think the chances of stumbling in other games just got a lot higher. The odds of going 3-2 the rest of the way and maybe losing the bye went up. If that happens the odds of making the super bowl go down massively most likely.

That isn't reactionary panic, just reality.

The Pats' defense should be able to handle the Giants' offense,
Well against the lions yesterday the Giants had 120 on the ground and 399 passing, Winston was 18/36 for 366 2td one and 93.1 rating. No so bad. Controlled the game for most of it. I think the giants who have lost the last two have been tougher outs than folks thought. Giants defense will test the Pats particularly Abdul Carter, not having Will Campbell will not help.

No, the tiebreakers only come into play if the Patriots lose exactly two more games than the Bills the rest of the way. If they lose 3 more games than the Bills, the Bills finish with the better record and win the division.
Yeah true, because of the bye week half-game split. Of course, Buffalo sweeping feels unlikely with 3 games left against Cincinnati, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh.

I think it's reversed. Josh Allen on his good day is much more formidable than the current Lamar Jackson.

Lamar is a shell of himself right now.
I'm far more concerned about Baltimore's defense than Buffalo's.

I'll gladly play Heroball Josh on the Road this year. Especially with their season potentially on the line. That could be a 4 pick special.

Yeah, I’m ready for drinks and boobs. Sounds like a good start…

Super Bowl here we come!

High. Heroball Josh on the Road. Patriots playing with very little pressure, other than the hats and t-shirts might be in the building (if they win next Monday, they WILL be in the building). The place will be absolutely electric.

Vrabel in his presser just said it wasn't something that should keep him out the rest of the season. I wonder if he is even going on IR.

Speaking of that, I forget the rules. Used to be you would go on IR and that was it. Then it was you could IR anyone and they could come back in season. Now I think it's changed again. So they have to figure that out as well.

He is a tackle. MCL strains can be mitigated with bracing that other skill position players can't use.
I believe team limit is 8 for IR with designation to return during regular season and additional 2 for post season.

I was mistaken on my diagnosis
I have to say I have always been a expect the worst and hope for the best human
So happy to read it was not as serious
Problem is: If I were a Doctor. My office would still be filled tomorrow

Hope you feel better, man. Just got over that myself a few weeks ago...felt like it dragged on for ages.
I'm glad you're feeling better now. I travel for work like an absolute idiot with a ton of exhaustion/exposure to germs and I usually get sick as soon as I get home. I guess I let my guard down and the germs have their way with me. I just want to be all better for Thursday!

Oh wow, others said your post was sarcasm. Come to find out it wasn't. Hahahahahahahaha. I am not orthopedic surgeon either, but I know how to do a stupid ACL and MCL test on the sideline with my kids. Of course you can't determine the extent of the injury without an MRI. Duh, but you can determine the injury. That is exactly what the trainers did on the field yesterday. "The ACL is in tact." That is why Will was not ruled out right away. They tested the MCL in the locker room and knew what they had. They just don't know the extent until today. None of this is speculating from TwitFace doctors online. Its from the team and their reaction.

Awww you poor little cupcake. You got called out for being a fraud. Will you recover? Go back to the Jets.
Why are you trolling so much lately

Yeah, now that I'm older, it definitely feels like it takes longer than it used to. Definitely drink a ton of water and hydrate and flush out the bad stuff as much as you can. Started doing that the last couple of times I've been sick, and it helped. I was still sick, but I never got quite as bad as I normally would have. So it definitely seemed like it made a difference.

I think Lowe/Brown fill in fine.

Lowe seems like he can play the position with some coaching.

Just no false starts!
