At this point BB going to the NYG and leaving UNC in the dust seems outlandish but also extremely possible at the same time? Very strange but I'm here for it

Terrified this is where McDaniels goes.

You're all doing this to trigger me, aren't you?

so you honestly think the giants are going to hire McDaniels after
Denver, 11-17, alienates the QB, drafts Tebow in the first round, basically disintegrates the team, fired year 2 mid season
LV Raiders, 9-16, alienates the QB, dumps him for Jimmy Glass, basically has a mutiny in the locker room, fired year 2 mid season

not many guys get three bites at the apple after their first two outings were complete disasters...

He's already had 3.
You forgot Indy and Irsay's bathroom incident.

Do we even know what Josh’s relationship with BB is?

Would he want to work under BB again?

Or is the question would Josh be interested in the Giants HC job?

yeah, I did... was completely blind to the fact that he once screwed them over... Even if he did go, that wouldn't have worked out well either... i don't think Paul Brown himself could have won with Anthony Richardson...

This is terrible... Honestly, I'm quite inconsolable at this moment.

As someone who loathes the Giants and their wretched fan base for what they stole from us nothing would please me more than to see them experience unending football suffering, and Daboll was really helping that mission along.

In retrospect, he didn't really screw them over, that's just what Irsay told the media.

Josh didn't tell the media that Irsay was doing lines in the bathroom in his house, and his wife got creeped out.

I don't blame him then... but I am going to keep referring to it as "Josh screwing the colts over" because it sounds better ... and will be even more drama filled with the addition of the bolivian marching powder angle...

Josh. Isn't. Leaving.
To be clear, I agree, at least with respect to the short term. I could see it happening a few years down the road. I'm about 99.9% certain he'll be OC next year, and about 90% certain about 2027.

I could certainly see the Bills having interest in bringing Daboll back.

I assume it will also depend on what becomes of Schoen. He would have to go if Bill were to entertain. It appears they will try Kafka who is one of those highly thought of OC's from the McVey tree.

Daboll won't want to go back to the Bills. Most head coaches who are fired rarely go back to the teams they were OC or DC of. McDaniels and Patricia were the exceptions, not the rule.

My guess is he will want to go to a place with a young QB with talent (possibly someone who is drafted next year) and try to develop him so that he can try to rehab his image to have a second head coaching job. I don't know if going to get that in Buffalo.

I mean McDaniels didn't even get a second shot until Brady left and he was able to get Mac Jones to have a great rookie season.

Daboll ain't going to attention with Josh Allen already considered one of the best QBs in the NFL.

Daboll *hates* McDermott. Like, viscerally.

Short term. Long term. The only job I think he'd take is if John Carroll opened up at some point, and that would be down the road. And he didn't even say that much, that part's just my speculation.
