He was amazing. One torn patellar made him a shell of himself. Then another torn patellar sealed his ticket out of the league.

Unless the body building somehow caused both knee injuries, I don't see that as a cause for his decline.

I could see the increased weight putting more strain on those tendons/ligaments, not to mention a loss of agility. I could be wrong but I thought I heard he was over 240 lbs at one point which for a wr is huge.

I’m with Reiss here. The big “miss” looks like Dre’Mont Jones, but he kind of echos the earlier report that the Titans may not have been interested in trading with the Pats. The Ravens also should value Jones more than the Pats. They have 12 sacks to the Pats’ 19, 5 from edge rushers to the Pats’ 12. The two players with a team-high 2 sacks are both on IR. Nobody healthy for them has more than 1.5.

I thought it was strange they traded away Oweh.
He struggled with Balt this year (usage maybe), but has 3 sacks in 3 games with the Chargers.

Chargers traded a 6th to the Saints for OL Trevor Penning. Penning was 1st round pick in 2022. He was their starting RT last season and they switched him to LG this season. He sounds like a nice upgrade over Caedan Wallace who I believe has been a healthy scratch in every game this season. This deal would have made so much sense, especially in light that we just landed two extra 6th rounders. Bummer...

I got the impression they were looking for a depth type of guy anyways. Maybe he impressed enough to hold back.

Not according to Daniel Jeremiah who thinks none of the QBs are better than Cam Ward. I like Ty Simpson, Dante Moore and Mendoza but I'm not convinced they're no 1 material in most years. And Simpson and Moore might not even declare. After those three, it's not a good group at all.

You can say that again that Senior class went to hell Allar and Nussmeier.

I don’t get it, traded away depth pieces while already being thin with depth and did nothing to bolster the roster. Team is on thin ice as is, one significant injury could derail them bad.
