Vrabel knows he doesn't need to disrupt the teams long-term vision however I'd expect some depth moves especially at edge rusher..

Thought it seemed strange that the Bears viewed themselves as contenders to be making a trade (granting this isn’t a huge deal), but I just realized they’re 5-3. A couple of winnable games coming against the Giants and Browns, but they have a tough schedule beyond that. Packers twice (without Kraft though), Vikings, Lions, Eagles, 49ers, Steelers. And Caleb Williams still as QB. We’ll see how they do, could surprise me.

The Bears have been building for win now mode though. They made a lot of moves in the offseason to be a contender in the short term.
