Massive overpay for Sauce AND the Jets will likely **** up both those picks. It also damned near ensures 2 wins for NE this year.

Kind of a win/win for NE.

Idiot move by the Colts too. That team isn’t winning the Super Bowl with Daniel ****ing Jones at QB.

I feel like they overpaid. However shutdown corners don't grow on trees.

That seems like market price for a #1 CB now.

This should remind us how lucky we are to have Gonzalez.

As for the Colts, this definitely helps their defense improve on paper.

They will have to go against teams like the Bills and the Chiefs in the playoffs, so adding more to their CB room makes sense even if it was a hefty price to pay.

That was always a terrible trade, even in the moment because Mo Sanu was worth nothing more than 5th rd pick.

Especially terrible since the 49ers only gave up a 3rd and a 4th rd pick to get the better Emmanuel Sanders plus a 5th rd pick at the same time

I was often frustrated by BB trades.

We seemed to pay too much or get too little in return.

I got the impression BB didn’t put much effort in it.

I’ve had that feeling for weeks now. It just doesn’t make enough sense to make overpriced trades.

Trade deadline trades are a sellers market.

I would prefer to do nothing if being bent over like the Colts were is what the options are.

Also, Jakobi Meyers is not going to be what gets the Jags to the post season.

The Jags also panicked on draft day 2025.

We have Nine wins already and we haven't played two games. Get it: any given Sunday doesn't apply to these Jets.

As much as Shaheed would be exciting to get today - the reality is that Pats system does not allow for interchangeable WR's.
No WR could come in and learn the O and be serviceable during this year. Rice is a PS/depth guy to try to develop for next year.
And honestly, that's the type of deals we have to make at WR... because we just can't hit on a high round WR. And we'll probably have to wait until spring to maybe sign a good FA to bolster for next year.
