Well, I was ready to believe it because I thought I saw a DB clapping to get a teammates' attention earlier in the game. But in the clip provided when the ball was snapped NO ONE was 'clapping' like the guy said. At first, I wondered about Hawkins because his right hand is moving, but on second look, his left hand is by his side. All we are left is the age-old question, "What is the sound of one hand clapping?"
I thought Pennix was pointing to say that Robinson was in the area of the throw, but who knows. There is probably a half dozen early snaps that occur every week. Pretty low-grade stuff by Morris if you ask me. He needs to apologize publicly if it's confirmed that no one was clapping on that play.
"It wasn't me, it was the other guy" attitude, has permeated our society. Sounds like an interview I saw last night on 60 minutes
