Honestly between what Jennings showed and how Henderson played and Stevenson probably to come back, I think I'm fine with RB. I would really look into an added guard or something. Also WR I think this team could always use a weapon.

On defense it's clear that we need to upgrade secondary because the game just changes when Gonzalez gets hurt (and he is prone to getting hurt at this point)

With regards to the line I dont think they are at the level of last year but yeah I agree it still needs work. Some of those sacks yesterday was on Drake and its not the first time that they were because of him standing tall in the pocket for too long. He is great at throwing off platform on the move. I would like to see more plays that has him rolling out if they see early in the game the pocket is getting dirty in a hurry. Whether its his fault or the line he cant be taking five sacks every game.

We need EDGE help (I think Phillips is way overrated) but someone else.
We also need a WR now - we were on the verge before Boutte hammy, now it's near imperative.
Williams is not ready to produce this year. And apparently they don't want Chism playing offense. So, Diggs/Pop/Hollins won't cut it.
I'm fine letting Kyle & Efton fade to a redshirt year. This 7-2 season is about winning now.

Swing for DJ Moore or someone who can immediately impact, and play the X.

Drake was sitting in pocket for over 5 seconds. No line can protect him for so long. I would say 50% of sacks are on Drake and not the line.

He refuses to do any screens or dump offs and is always looking at 10+ yarder. Needs to take quick wins. He tried one with Henderson which was sbatted down. But I would like him to do more of those so that he can build his versatility and defenses are not too sure what to expect.

Yesterday Allen was doing a ton of dump offs to shakir for 3-5 yard gains instead of taking. A sack and pushing behind by 8 yards.

Or Rashid Shaheed from the Saints he's a true X-WR. I'm not opposed to Trading Kyle Williams in a deal.
Welcome to the Clown Show, the trade Kyle Williams edition.

@203Pat R Shaheed is way better than Kyle Williams it's not even close. We're well of aware of the N.E. Patriots Rookie WR history and its not good. Because of our history: I'm not patient in that area.

Some guys like Ocho Cinco never figure it out. Let's hope Williams gets it.
One player is a few games into his career and other was 150 games in and at the end of his career. Its not even worth the comparison. In the last few years, the Pats have picked poor WRs and then destroyed whatever little talent they had. They are refusing to do that with Williams. Its all about protecting him and allowing him to develop naturally at his own pace.

Shut up you clown. Shaheed is 27 and has been in the league since 2022 and has never had a 1k yard season. Williams is frkin rookie. Of course Shaheed is better right now. You are not patient in any area, but you are consistently an idiot. If the Pats trade for Shaheed, fine, but its unrelated to Williams.

The Bungels are scoring points left and right, Joe Flacco had like over 400 yards yesterday, and they just paid Hendrickson a ton of money, but that defense is abysmal!

I doubt Burrow would have been any better than Flacco was yesterday

They are 3-6

The history of Belichick's drafting WR's has absolutely nothing to do with this team. And your lack of patience has nothing to do with the team, it's because like a 3 year old you want everything now, and are incapable of allowing any player to develop.

How the F do the Eagles keep doing this?
Roseman is patient and knows how to leverage ****ty teams out of assets. Plus they backfill their draft by getting extra picks, ie the belichick fastball.

They have the jets 3rd rounder so they said **** it it's better positioning that our current pick.

If everything they say about stretch is true then we should have a trade or 2. I know andre carters don't fall out of trees but that is what we need.

Or Jeffrey Simmons.

Right now he certainly is better than Williams. If they're able to develop Williams there is a chance he is better than Shaheed at this time next season. If you bring in another guy in from of KW then he gets buried on the depth chart and that would hinder his development.

Then again with the Boutte injury who knows if that changes their plans.

They have a different view of their future and the cap.

PHI wants to improve its chances of getting into their Championship game THIS year.

If Boutte is expected to be back after the bye, then I expect AJ or nothing at WR. If not, how can it be wrong to give a 6th to improve our 2025 playoff prospects?
