Landry’s leg got dinged up a game ago, he also had a sack the week before last… that’s not invisible.

Landry currently has 6 sacks, Chaisson has 5, Crosby has 4… why do we need Crosby again?
Well, you see, he's *heard* of Maxx Crosby, ergo, he's better than anyone the Patriots have.

Another starting safety with speed would be nice, more DL depth is always helpful. A game changing RB would also be nice… but a game changer anywhere would be solid.

As long as they don’t overpay they should be in the market to make a playoff push now. Look to the NFC for trade partners, it’s more likely.

Crosby is so overrated it hurts…

Unless Stevenson is expected to be close to 100% soon, we need to trade for a RB to share time with Henderson. Henderson is not likely to be up to playing 75% of the reps like Stevenson did. Sure, a game changing RB would be nice, but those are rarely available. What we need is a serviceable RB, at least as good as Gibson.

I would be shocked if Vrabel is even making calls about OT. Our starters for 2025 and 2026 have performed very, very well. We have a youngster backing up both LT and RT and who we hope to continue to be at least a backup in 2026. That gives us 3 OT's for 2026.

In addition, we have Lowe, an adequate emergency #4 OT who also backs up at both RT and LT. I expect that we will draft an OT next year to hopefully replace Lowe or acquire one in free agency.

Yes, we could replace our #4 (Lowe) with another veteran. I just don't see this as much of a priority for the use of picks or cap money.

Lol convenient you just ignore the fact Crosby is getting doubled most games.

At first I was kinda 'what the' looking at the asking price on them but then I realized teams gotta compete with their possible comp formula returns when it comes to Breece Hall & Jaelin Phillips

They’ve both maxed out at low 70s snap percentage, so a 4th round comp pick would have to be at least $15M+ per year. Maybe Phillips can get there, but Hall isn’t coming close to that. He’ll be a comp 5th.

That reflects my reasoning when we account for keeping in mind GM's are looking for the moon when they put feelers out through reporters. A GM floating a player for a 3rd is expecting to hear offers of 4th's.

Call me crazy, but I'd do something like a 3rd for Breece + a 5th, or something like that. Very good player who is still only 24 years old who fills a need short and long term.

Elsewhere on the list - I'd be in big-time on Jaelen Phillips. Short of that, Arden Key would be a pretty solid grab in the ilk of Harold Landry. Not flashy but a good third guy who probably isn't too expensive. But the problem there is whether TEN will trade with Vrabel. I'd be interested in Tony Pollard, but that's the same issue.

On Philadelphia radio this morning, the sports host were babbling nonstop about supposedly hot and heavy rumors that the eagles are trying to acquire Miles Garret for three first round draft picks. I think the Browns would have to be stupid to accept this because all three of those pics will probably be between 25 and 32.
Imagine some crazy scenario where they trade three 1st rounders for Garrett, then trade AJ Brown for a 1st. So the Garrett and Brown contracts somewhat cancel out, and they effectively only lose two 1sts instead of three.

Bryant is 23, drafted in the 7th round and has a career 11 offensive snaps. You do understand he was drafted in the 7th round for a reason right?

Absolutely, just like Kayshon Boutte was drafted in the 6th for a reason. What does that matter now? Everyone watching camp and preseason knew that Bryant was a lock for the roster based on his performance. Maybe he’ll never be more than a reasonable backup, but he does seem to be that.
