The reason that exists is I’d prefer someone blocking someone and having to not deal with constant bickering the same way I’d prefer people just mute people or ignore them rather than being upset they exist on the board. We can police malice but not differences of opinion.

If someone ever unblocks someone, snipes them, and then re-blocks them, that would be a different issue. But for now, having two people who don’t like each other no longer engage each other is certainly something I’d prefer.

OFC you do, that's a big part of what many of us see as the problem. How about a good faith experiment? How about you block/ignore/mute/excommunicate the people posting what you perceive as that 'hate' and see what happens? For our sake if not your own?
Because I'm not a snowflake I neither want or need a censored experience.

I can see allowing snowflakes to hide from whatever they want but it shouldn't change what I get to see and post about.

Some jerks just get to run around smearing GOATS and if someone opposes their opinion they get to control censorship of the opposite opinion that's unAmerican.

It’s a two way street. When someone blocks someone, they don’t get the luxury of blocking a person and the ability to see their posts. So the blocked person’s posts are also hidden to them:

I’m not going to get into censorship…people should have the ability to control their experience. The only option is to do what Elon did. Elon removed that but then removed the ability to reply or tag the user. I don’t see the point of that, since the net result is that they can’t (and one of them doesn’t want to) converse anyway.

Good QB always, always, ALWAYS and forever over good coach. QB's can carry inferior coaches to success but coaches cannot do the same to QB's. Coaches can put their QB in a position to succeed but it's up to the QB to execute that's why they get the credit.

Obviously that's not saying an inferior coach can't ruin a young talented QB. They certainly can and we've seen it here and around the league.
Case in point what happened to Vrabel in Tennessee. The talent drained and his QB was pedestrian. It was a weird situation there, but HC's are the scapegoat.

Trevor Lawrence has gotten 2 HC's fired because he's not that good of QB despite getting a large contract for whatever reason. Name a HC that got fired and then look at their QB. More often than not, it was because the QB wasn't good enough to carry the team.

I'm sorry you perceive that as being a 'snowflake.' I'd invite you to consider what you'd really be doing is sparing everyone else from the BS being inflicted on all of us, be the bigger man

And I merged your “burner” account. You can’t publicly say you have one since multiple accounts here aren’t permitted. Lol, next time PM me on something like this.

Even Captain America lost his way with his righteous BS, bud. @maust is right. Please find your way back to being a productive member of this community. Your valuable insight is missed.

I thought Cowher was fired with Ben but he stepped down.

Okay so I want to drop these realities here.
1) 6-2 is considerable over .500
2) It's a fantastic season to date, and the most likely outcome - not guaranteed, mind you - is a playoff spot at least.
3) Our QB is playing lights out, regardless of the toughness of the opposing D.
4) Receivers are beginning to sprout out of the NE soil like cicadas after 17 years of hibernation, and it only took us what, 4?

Yes, you can still hope for bad enough luck that we're all disappointed, but as a fan... there is no better time than the gathering strength of a new dynasty... sue me for enjoying today rather than look back on a season I could have enjoyed if I enjoyed football.

Yeah you can still be right and we can finish, after a run of many losses, at under .500 on the season. Right now we've got a winning season, and more than that, a franchise QB.

Hoping for the best, whatever anybody else is doing here. JEEZ.

One other thing on this. I can’t control what other people think or that they exist. People complain to me about this but the simple fact is that those who don’t like the opinion can either ignore the thread or mute/block the user. They can’t complain the thread/user exists.

Granted, I might not agree with that person , but I can’t force them to change their minds. The tools exist for people to control what they do/don’t want to see. But the mods and I aren’t here to control the narrative.

All great points but in the bigger picture I'm not ready to label this a real turnaround yet. We still need talent. I think we still need to find more of it in FA and in the draft next April, and maybe even 2 Aprils from now. I also remember 2021 and how we looked at this point of that season and how I felt about where we were at... and that ended so badly that I don't want to do that again.

OK Folks I didn't make the rules in fact I don't even like them but Patsfans has spoken and the rules have been firmly set forth in the Brady forum and in the Bill mega thread you are only allowed to choose one (and no Josh doesn't count sub rules firmly set forth coordinators don't count)
What is more important, the bow or the arrow?

And for the record, I feel like I defended you in essentially this argument. If people don’t like your poll/thread, they can move on. Me deleting it would meet your argument.

As for anyone saying something sucks on here, I’m totally cool with that. I’d prefer that than telling me how great something is. Most of the better things in here came from someone expressing frustration about something.

I see myself as the hero laying down on my own sword to expose this rediculous hate that has ruined Patsfans.com
You've literally become the same as them, just on the other side.
You continue this ****. You make it 100x worse.

It's just as unreadable, and pointless drivel that infects every thread. Again, if you want to schizo-out with the schizos in the schizo thread. Cool. Stay in your containment area. Mods have been doing a good job putting all the obvious bait in there.

Gotta work on that main character syndrome though. Bill Belichick doesn't know who you are lil bro. He's a multi-multi millionaire and doesn't need defending from you or anyone else.

It's 2025. The Patriots are good. Bill Belichick and Tom Brady have been gone for years at this point.

No one's going to move on until people stop fighting these pointless wars. In 10 years no one will care except the occasional schizo complaining about 25 year old drafts, and they'll be treated accordingly.

I thought Cowher retired after the 2005 season, but that was Bettis. He did go out on his terms the following season though as he stepped down to spend more time with his family.

This is where some fans take things too far and become "Stans". It's all good you appreciate a person's work, but once you cross the line of getting upset that others criticize that person, there's a problem.

I've said to other folks that it's part of being a sports fan to ***** about coaches, managers, GMs, owners, while generally withholding vitriol for players until something egregious is done to warrant the changing tides. Not sure why SBB feels it's un-patriotic fan-ish to ***** about Bill, or any other coach/gm/owner.

That's not what's happening. %90 of the board hates Bill Belichick.

If you hate the man that gave you your entire franchises success than you're not a fan of that team simple as that.

I can't believe people even argue this after how Brady vs Belichick ended.

No coach can ever be more valuable than a good quarterback playing at a top 10 level, Vrabel finished 7-10, 6-11 in his last 2 seasons in Tennessee cause the QB play fell off of a cliff.

You just have to think about owning a team would you rather have Mahomes + one of the 5 worst coaches in the league as your pairing or Andy Reid/Kyle Shanahan and one of the 5 worst quarterbacks.

The QB is the holy grail, you can't say the Pats made a mistake choosing Bill over Tom then suggest Vrabel is more important than Drake.

Polarized much?

It's not black and white. Bill was great, until he wasn't. He's not infallible. I rocked the Belichick hoodie for years, still have it, will occasionally wear it, even though it's vintage and pretty beat. It makes me appreciate how great he was. Past tense. But 2021 Bill does not equal 2004 Bill.

You see it that 90% hates Bill, when in reality 90% of the board wants you to just stop and move on to 2025 and what's happening now. And not by some backhanded method of who's more important Drake or Mike, just so you can corner people into winning an argument.

This is like arguing politics on facebook. You're never going to win someone over to your side, you're just going to make them dig in like a tick. It's really time to let it go and enjoy what's happening now.

Come back to the light, bud.
