NFL Trade Deadline Discourse

A lot of people wanted Washington out of Georgia, who went to Pittsburgh.
I didn't like him.
Way too stiff.
Might catch a few passes a year, but he was way overdrafted.
He really should try to move to OT, he's not a pass catching TE.

Maybe we'll add one or two.

We've only added two (other than one-day elevations) since Game One: Tavai and Murphy. One we played Game One, our roster was set other than trading Polk and losing Gibson to IR.

I loved him and still do because I never pegged him as a pass catching TE. He was drafted at 93 overall which was a round too high. With him you get an o-lineman at FB and an incredible lead blocker. He would make a diff in finishing the holes that our linemen are having trouble with. Not a 3rd round pick though. 4-5.

WTF.... I have was called ridiculous by a clown on here for even saying something remotely negative about the great Keion White. Fortunately for me after a back and forth I found the ignore button for the clown. In all seriousness I totally agree. The guy has six sacks in three years and now cant even get on the field. He has one move, a bull rush and nothing else. He doesnt contain the edge and if he is successful in his rush a lot of time the qb steps up and he is out of the picture. He has the measurables but no real talent. If Vrabel and company couldn't improve his game (as evident of him not playing) its time to move on.
I have the copyright for calling out the clown show posse on here, and you are not them. Keion had great potential and that is undeniable. He just couldn't overcome a year of bad coaching and poor discipline. He gets an attitude and refuses to grown. He could emerge for another team if he grew up a bit.

Agree. He has a role, you just shouldn't be drafting a pass blocking TE as high the Steelers did.

Got a feeling now that teams are 1-7 or 2-6 ****s gonna start going down.

Saints are always in cap hell, browns are just dumb, raiders, titans, maybe cards.

Brian Thomas Jr. could be on the move. Lots of talk about the Jaguars trading him.

He had an explosive rookie season but not doing so well in year 2. Maybe he's just not happy in Florida.

Feels like a Randy Moss situation that we could capitalize on?

Here's one of the trade speculation articles: MSN

Mapu and a conditional 2nd if BTJ hits 1,000 yards receiving, otherwise it's only a 3rd or a 4th? I think that move could be worth.

Sad thing about White (AND Mapu), is there were so many good players available when we drafted those 2. Typical BB bad draft.
Yup we have seen a lot of BB's draft busts moved out the door under coach Vrabel's tenure and it has been addition by subtraction every time.

Edge is probably the top of my list right now, but the only thing is ive been hearing next years draft is pretty rich at edge so im thinking we’re already spending a high pick there ( and won’t have to pay a hefty extension for this person starting next year). Thats why im thinking if anything it will be a more modest upgrade that might cost a mid / lower rd pick.

What would the giants want for thibodeux?

Budda Baker

Brian Thomas is currently having one of the worst seasons ever for a "#! WR". I'm good with bringing in talented loser checked-out guy.

I think he had 5 or 6 drops alone last week?

Just sign depth next off-season and draft BPA in first 3 rounds .

We have found two wr2 in diggs / Boutte . That should solve problem for at least another couple of years . We can continue to take shots at wr in lower rounds or udfa. Hopefully Chism or Williams pan out.

That would be an incredible trade.

I might even settle for a 6th in return. Or possibly a 2nd and we get back a 4th. When you think about the salary aspect it’s basically a salary swap on top of it. Baker would be great on this team.

Budda Baker will be 30 this season. Very good player but prefer someone younger who will be around a while.
