I’m wondering how long Hendrickson will need to be out? Looking at the schedule I’m thinking the Pats would really be okay if they acquired him and the first game he appeared in was the one after the bye week. Especially if he came at a discount because he’s damaged goods, and is a UFA after the end of this season.

We are really trying to improve for the future. I’d like see major improvement for the future starting after December, this season, as well as future years. That’s where Hendrickson is problematic. He’s 30, as well as being unsigned beyond the end of the season.

3) Agreed, though Key is actually injured currently. And so is Simmons. They'd just gotten their big man on the Line back in Sweat.

You're incorrect about the number of edge players under contract for 2026. Besides Landry, the Pats have Ponder and Jennings. They've also got Swinson on the PS whom they are investing a lot of time in to try and get him capable.

There aren't many players available who would be an upgrade over Keion White or Elijah Ponder.

Arden Key (Titans) is 29.
Cam Jordan (Saints) is 36...

I don't really get the whole "fall from grace" angle for Keion White. He was never a great player to begin with so I don’t know why this is so shocking to some. White flashed here and there but that was about it and now it is clear he isn't a scheme fit and is likely gone soon.

WTF.... I have was called ridiculous by a clown on here for even saying something remotely negative about the great Keion White. Fortunately for me after a back and forth I found the ignore button for the clown. In all seriousness I totally agree. The guy has six sacks in three years and now cant even get on the field. He has one move, a bull rush and nothing else. He doesnt contain the edge and if he is successful in his rush a lot of time the qb steps up and he is out of the picture. He has the measurables but no real talent. If Vrabel and company couldn't improve his game (as evident of him not playing) its time to move on.

White never really seemed to prove the counting report on him wrong. A tweener that is a one trick pony in terms of pass rush moves. Wouldn't be surprised if he's cut or traded for a late round pick after we make a move for a d-lineman.

That 2nd round after White was full of disappointments & busts. Rashee Rice is the best of the bunch taken 9 picks later. But god damn that 3rd round immediately after Mapu went Byron Young, Tucker Kraft, and Josh Downs, followed by De'Von Achane a few picks later...

I think all of us were clamoring for tucker kraft . Te was a need in 2023.
