KC out of respect. Steelers beat them so they have the edge, but I see the Steelers slipping. They beat the Bills at their house, so the Pats have the edge of them. They are in the same group as Indy and Denver. Pats should finish no worse than the #3 seed.

Ya, I wasn't saying I personally think all those teams are better, just that you could argue it.

After 2004, it was pretty clear NE owned them. I was pretty nervous going back for that AFCCG.

I kid, I like that Vrabel is the boss, no messing around. It’s over, don’t do it again and move on. I saw Vrabel hug him in the post game hugathon outside the locker room. So I think everything is ok.

By next season, I expect them to allow Maye to throw it 40-45 times. Not every game. But more will be put on his plate.

I thought Josh called a weird game the first half. Now I'm wondering if he was setting up expectations in the mind of Cleveland's D in the first half of which he knew he could take advantage in the second half. Maybe I am making excuses for what I saw as wrong in the first half, or maybe Josh doesn't need any excuses and he just knows more about offensive football than the rest of us, certainly more than I do, some retired English teacher with a keyboard. I think that's a distinct possibility.

I think that’s true.
I think it’s also true, perhaps as part of that, that he has two playbooks: his first half playbook, and his second half playbook.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the plays in the first half playbook set up the plays in the second half playbook.
Things like setting tendencies in the first half that are broken in the second half.
He is an exceptional OC.

Damn 5 in a row. Incredible what this offseason accomplished and what Vrabel has put together on top of Drake’s development. Excited to watch this team against better competition and excited as hell that we will be playing meaningful football in December and January. I hope that first drive in the 2nd half was just a sample of what McD can do with Drake and this offense in another month or two.

Buffalo plays the Jets week 18.

Somehow I don't think the Bills will have locked up the division his year by week 17 and will rest their 1st string players, essentially allowing the Jets to win and thus keeping them from getting the #1 pick.

Not that they would ever do something like that, even if they could.

For what? We win by 3 scores, our QB has another great game and is the MVP favorite. We stay in 1st place at 6-2 with the second best record in the conference and his first post is we are the 7th best team in the AFC.
