Anybody have 7 Mack Hollins catches on your bingo card?

In that ridiculous 4th quarter sequence, losing a fumble and then an onside kick and coming away from it up 2-0 in points is pretty awesome.

Drake balled out even with Garrett hunting him. Drake is ascending faster than I expected. Henderson was having a good game until the fumble. I'd say this was one of the best games for Spillane.

Anyone who's memory is sharp: any idea how this defense would look if we didn't have slow starts? I wonder what the ppg would look like that that point. I imagine it'd be very promising, as in, a huge thing to look forward to and motivate Kuhr to improve.

This team continually upends my expectations. I didn't expect a terrible season, but I didn't expect this.
Prior to today, we were #3 fewest points allowed after the 1st 2 drives of games.

Dude shows up 24/7, nice to see him get some love

Amazing how NE can always start poorly and then dominate thereafter. Dylan Gabriel really shredded them though!
We had a poor first half. But really turned up the heat in the 3rd quarter and put the game away with 3 TDs.

Defense really stepped up by forcing some big turnovers and setting up a TD with Spillane's INT.

The safety was just icing on the cake.

Honestly if someone told you Myles Garrett would have a 5 sack game but the Patriots would win in a blowout, would you have believed them?

Definitely an impressive win. But certainly we still need to work on starting the game better. Other than that I'm pretty impressed by how we handled the Browns.

A big win with room for improvement. There's plenty of coaching to do, but also plenty of good things to be proud of as well.

Drake Maye was awesome again despite suffering a bunch of sacks. Campbell looked like a lamb for the slaughter today. He needs to learn to do better against elite pass rushers.

Solid win against a tough defense.

For a second, I wondered if they were trying to get Maye to 300 yards by keeping him in there, but they weren't doing all that and I'm actually pretty glad. This makes three "trap" games the Pats have won in a row.

The Bucs and Bills are probably the scariest opponents left (maybe Baltimore), but 11+ wins is absolutely on the table, and I wouldn't count out a playoff run if they can keep playing AND improving at this rate.

Feels like a special team here...

Great to see Henderson adding a type of running we didn't have before. Really disappointing on the fumble.
But, his threat outside and seeing the creases will put more pressure on D's.
Also, I think Jennings is worth rostering going forward. He's a good inside runner, and a good piece to have - even working him in earlier in the game. Because we still struggle on plays with 1 or 2 yards to go.
When they know we're running (like on that horrible 2nd & 1) we never get the first on a standard run play.

The theory I've heard is that they deliberately play vanillia defense for the first 15 plays, see what the other team wants to do and then adjust accordingly. Disconcerting sometimes but it seems to be workiing more often than not.

This is just who our defense is, I guess. We suck for the first couple of drives and then we lock down. And we don’t let runners run. That might just be good enough.

I mean, Cleveland ran every trick play/kitchen sink play they had in the playbook at them in the first half.

This defense might just actually be good.

To win MVP Maye needs to break the passer rating and completion record. The Mahomes push is just too strong otherwise.

BTW... that is 122.5 and 74.4%
