Hey y'all - just a side note - 23 points is good for the 2nd-most points any team has scored against Cleveland all year, and there's 1.5 quarters left.
IDK if Garrett will go down as one of those all time defensive players... but he will be close. It is so sad when those kind of players never win cause their teams suck. I was kind of happy Aaron Donald got his. It be a pity if he didn't.
So... Now that the game appears out of reach they will try to make it look like they called it fairly and didn't try to shave points? Got it.
Good job by Hollins to create traffic without OPI. I’ve been a big advocate for upgrading at WR and I stand by that at the very least they’ll need to get better at least at WR3 to get where they want to go, but Hollins is a tremendous depth player to keep around in a WR4 role. Very versatile and smart situational football player.
If we come away with the W, this is a great win. Browns defense and Garrett aren't easy to move against and we've found ways on every level. Bodes well for them that they can handle tougher defenses. I know they Browns are bad and have a bad offense but to see us have a run game and pass game against them, and feel confident after taking multiple sacks, which is huge.
Scoring a lot of points against a defense like this is always a tall order. Coaching adjustments is something we haven’t had in a few years. Glad to see it is back and the players responding in full.
