NFL Trade Deadline Discourse

For the first 7 weeks I've been wanting the team to get quality OL backup help (especially OT) but I didn't think Moses would make it this far...nor did I think Campbell would be this good and consistent. Yes...Lowe and Bryant are good enough backups but I thought one or both would be starting by now and then the problem becomes....if they get hurt....who comes in to replace them? But both Moses and Campbell have hung in there as starters...so I'm changing my tune with the belief backup OT is not much of an issue as I previously thought.
Lowe.. uh.. he should never be anywhere close to Drake. But your overall post is on point..

Read the post immediately above yours in this thread.
This is what you mean?

If there is a reliable OG in the last year of his contract that a team is willing to let go of, we DEFINATELY need to talk to that team before the trade deadline? Wilson isn't playing well. He only had one year of starting experience in college and simply isn't ready to be a starting OG on a team with Super Bowl aspirations. He's the weak link on this team. Plug that hole and this team become a Super Bowl contender right now.

I think you are right. I am not that sensitive about this point so I read it differently, I read it as a discussion about possibilities. But now that I re-read it following your post, I see the point and think you are right about what Mayoclinic meant. Having said that, I think it is OK to discuss player options. I don't like the hate posts. I didn't read that post as a hate post, but as a possibility post. Sometimes people read and interpret things differently.

WR's don't make sense.
Your probably right. Let's hope our passing game can continue to flow...probably won't look at that effective Sunday but...

We don't need WR's
Did I see all star poster Zuma say Lowe is average?...

Me too. Henderson is far to talented not be effective.. not sure exactly what's holding him back but eventually he's going to break out.. you'd think with a defensive front we are facing in Cleveland the screen game, short passing game he would be heavily involved in...
He’s going to break out when he mentally gets it.
It takes some time for certain players (James White)
When he does he’s going to be dynamic
Hopefully it’s sooner than later

Look man...we're just talking about the Pats...it's what we all do here. You and others have every right to pound the WR drum. I just think we have other positions that require more talent...either starter or backup.

Meyers isn’t an upgrade to what we have now. Why even bother posting this.

Zuma you don't need to tell me man. I realize this. And I agree. Just having a little fun man.. no harm, no foul every poster has a right to post whatever they view following the team. There are some others on here that post stupidity but that's them. I'm with you man..

If Campbell or Moses go down you are good with Vederian Lowe or Bryant? Can’t say I am.
Agreed.....Would love to see Bryant develop into something but so far he's only played on special teams

Why

Why would you trade for a guy who's going to retire at the end of the year, rather than give the rookie reps? To make your line, what, 2% better? For what reason?
Because we're competing for SB Championships against other NFL teams who may be 2% better than us. Anything that improves the team is a good viable move, especially if all it takes is a 7th round pick swap.
