If the Pats keep on the trajectory we think they are on, get ready for their week 15 home game against Buffalo to be flexed to SNF or MNF. That game will be for the division.
I already called that. MNF is MIA @ PIT. Easy call to flex that one I’d think.

I love to see Jones popping off this season.

But Vrabel better see that tackle at 2:50 and grill tf outta him for that display

In Jones' defense, that was Kamara, who normally you wouldn't think of as a big guy, but he dwarfs Marcus Jones.

Another great video from JT at the qb school breaking down Drake's throws and the routes from the game. He acknowledges Drake has an arm and is good at throwing off platform but he still dings him on the foot work stating Drake's foot work makes the throws hard on himself. Whether that is factual or not I am not a fan of fixing something that isn't broken.

Sidenote...... He runs the plays several times from different angles and you get to see big Will handle Chase Young play after play.

Watching this video you get to see just how small he is standing beside some of these guys. If only he were 6'0+ but he certainly makes up for it when you see how quick he is and his footwork. I don't think you can be taught to be that smooth, its something your just born with.

I don’t care if it was a mismatch, Dugger plays it terribly.

Don’t get beat deep, and he ****inh watches it happen.
Safety is looking like a big need for next year's draft. We need a true deep safety who can play centerfield without getting burned repeatedly. This type of play just reminds you how great Devin McCourty made our championship defenses of past years.

One-on-one with one of the best WRs in the game doesn't make sense.

And doesn't help that Carlton Davis seems pretty lackadaisical in his blitz here:

Every time I see his half-assed effort on that play I think Carlton Davis should've been made to walk home.

It's like he's never blitzed before, and isn't quite sure what to do.

Yet we can only imagine the effort put into coaching him up for it and then they showed the faith in him to call it 1st play even without a good coverage safety behind him. Defensive coaches showed a lot of belief in him there... annnnd... he mails it in.

He showed his intentions when he shifted early, thereby negating any surprise advantage. The Doorman basically quit after that.

I don't know if it was mentioned in this thread or not but I want to give a shout out to Chism for his kick off return game. He didn't look fast as he received the ball and took off which worried me early on. But what impressed me was the kid all 5'10 198 lbs of him wouldn't go down on contact and always kicked and clawed for more yardage averaging almost 26 yards a return.

26 yards on kickoff return with the current rules is bad.
He was bad.

But he didn't fumble, so there's that.

Bad is an overstatement, it was Solid..

The top 10 guys for Kickoff return ATTEMPTS average 25.53

Chism ranks 32 out of 66 in average KO return, right in the middle.

He was very undynamic back there, and that average is meh with the new rules.
I don’t think he was bad bad, but he certainly wasn’t good.
And I like Chism.

I'm saying I like his effort, lets see in a couple games how he does. It was a decent start for him. I guess we could put Mr. Butterfingers back there.

Its pretty infuriating that this play will be mostly forgotten moving forth on some ********. Busted coverage to get open, but look at the run after the catch.
