This is why PFF's """grading""" is complete and utter dogshit, and worthless.

Mike Onwenu is the worst player on that line, week in, week out.

This is your bias against Onwenu showing. I don't go by PFF's grading. I go by what the player does on the field.

This was Onwenu's worst game this season. He missed 3 blocks and Brasee schooled him twice. That being said, Onwenu hasn't let up a sack this season. He's allowed 1 HIT and 9 pressures. PFF has him at 8, but they missed one in the NOLA game.

Bradbury and Moses have both been worse than Onwenu at times. Moses has given up 2 sacks. and Bradbury has been crappy run-blocking over-all.

For folks complaining about Onwenu, it's worth noting that PFF has him ranked as a near top-decile guard - ranked 12th out of 106 guards overall and top-decile as a pass blocker. I understand that PFF is controversial, but their ranking of OL play is pretty objective and they look at every single snap, not just the bad ones. It's very easy to cherry-pick bad OL snaps and portray them as representative. And he's playing next to a center that was one of the worst pass-blocking centers last year and a right tackle that is on the downhill side of his career.

He's still going to be a cap causality in 2026. He wasn't good prior to being signed and he hasn't been good enough after being signed.

Speaking of dugger anyone notice him on sunday? I see he played 100% of snaps. I did not notice him at all outside of that bomb at the start and recovering the should have been fumble , wondering if thats a good thing.

I have no idea why they put him on an island like that on the first play of the game. Take that away and Rattler is not even breaking 200 yards passing.

"— Kyle Dugger played all 56 defensive snaps for the Patriots, who were without starting safety Jaylinn Hawkins (hamstring) for Sunday’s game. Dugger struggled to find a groove during the contest, posting a 52.3 defensive PFF grade that ranked 17th of 63 safeties who played at least 16 snaps in Week 6."

Maybe not the ideal matchup, but I’m sure they practiced it a lot. Can’t absolve Dugger from all blame. He waited until
Olave was by him to start running. I’m sure it was practiced to not get beat deep, if anything give up the underneath route, but Dugger was flat footed and just watched until it was too late

Thanks. Yeah that seemed like poor design, plus dugger only played one snap in buffalo and not sure how much he was in for Carolina while that was still close so its been awhile since hes had relevant snaps

Can't believe Pop Douglas is doing what he is on such little Snaps *16*.

But that's the point though. That has never been Dugger's game, so why would you put him in that situation? It doesn't matter how many times you practice it. He's a slow reactor and flat footed. Dugger has shown to be an awful deep S ever seen he had to take over for McCourty and Phillips. He was at his best when BB had him cover short areas of the field and run downhill.

One-on-one with one of the best WRs in the game doesn't make sense.

And doesn't help that Carlton Davis seems pretty lackadaisical in his blitz here:

I don’t care if it was a mismatch, Dugger plays it terribly.

Don’t get beat deep, and he ****inh watches it happen.

What if we were playing real QB like Mahomes that would be a TD.

Rookie Report All 22

Will Campbell-Another good game by Campbell. Had 3 pressures but still very good pass pro and, as usual a really good run blocking game. I'm not sure he's had to face any top pass rushers this year and curious how he does when that happens. But he's been very good against the guys he's had to play/

Jared Wilson-A very inconsistent game for Wilson. He had a number of strong plays, overall, he's a better pass blocker than run blocker. Gave up 2 pressures, Mayes ability to get rid of the ball quickly and accurately helped him on his pressures. Still struggles holding the blocks at the second level, is not bad on the first level run blocking and teams well with Campbell on doubles and stunts. Not as bad as the PFF rating (41.2) at all but inconsistent day for him. Did some good stuff but did some bad stuff. Most importantly he solidified the LG for pass blocking. It was so bad last year and his contribution for pass pro has made a huge difference.

Tre Henderson-Also inconsistent game. I thought he ran better then Rham, did fine picking up the blitz and, other than one miss, did a very good job chipping. Also dropped a screen pass in traffic and lucky wasn't picked, did not know what to do as he was assigned to block the end on a play Maye ended up rolling right, but the end never rushed, and he just stayed there not doing much instead of going out for a pass. Hit the hole quick, thought he could use more patience and then as I thought that he made a really good but by using patience. Next play he was too patient and should have hit the hole fast, instead took a loss. Would love to see more outside zone tosses rather than up the middle with him. His vision is OK, not great, elusiveness OK, not great, his strength is speed and quickness, and they need better designed runs for that.

Kyle Williams-Did not play a ton, drew a PI that many called a makeup call but 100% Pass interference and may have been a long TD if not interfered with. CB was caught flat footed and pushed him as he made the break to go around him just as Maye threw. No doubt Pass interference not a makeup call. Pass looked perfect. The one incompletion was, IMO, William's fault. It's zone defense, he has to read the defense and go to the opening, Maye threw it to the opening while Williams cut in, to where the defense was. The other pass to him was an out Maye overthrew, tight window but not a good throw. The only other bad throw Maye had was the one behind DD on the out. Mixed bag for him in limited snaps. Clearly Maye and him do not currently have a connection, hopefully they can hit one of these long ones and Williams can get some confidence.

Craig Woodson-Best game of the year. Split time near the line and as the deep safety, surprising with Dugger the other safety. Good job in coverage, good run support, on 1 play he took on a guard, shouldered him and got off the Guard and made the tackle. Did semi-miss a tackle inside the 5, though was reaching out and not head on. Blitz a few times, caused pressure on 1 but was blocked by RB on another. Looked more confident, quick decision making, just a good game overall, took a step forward IMO.
On a separate note: Charles Woods came in for a play due to injury, proceeded to fall down about 20 yards downfield in coverage and luckily pressure got to Rattler and he did not have time to wait or would have been a TD.

Joshua Farmer-Show really good power, strong holding up, good run defender, has a play or 2 where he can use his strength in pass rush but not a strong pass rusher. Can't teach his strength though so someone that can definitely contribute as he grows.

Ponder-Did not play enough-2 plays on defense and then on special teams.

Efton Chism-Future Patriot Hall of Famer looked solid as kick returner and on the kicking team as a tackler. Also was the last line of defense on the kneel downs. Greta careers al start at different levels!

KC could find themselves in a situation where they are a wildcard or have to win to get in.. they have championship pedigree zebras in thier favor so hard to completely discount them. I believe more in Denver than I do chargers
