The story of the week so far has been the return of wide receiver Wes Welker, who participated in the Patriots organized team activities on Wednesday.

Although Welker didn't speak to the media on Wednesday, he did post on his official Facebook page yesterday. This isn't exactly breaking news, but for anyone who isn't aware of his official page on Facebook I thought I'd mention it. He took the time to update it last night, and also added photos from practice.
"Back practicing with the team today," wrote Welker. "Felt great to be on the field".
The veteran receiver has been relatively active on his Facebook page, although not as active as Vince Wilfork has been on Twitter, so obviously social media has been important to those two players and it gives fans another avenue to reach them.
So be sure to friend him up on Facebook, and while you're at it be sure to become a fan of PatsFans.com as well.
