Bourne is doing well, J Andrews is doing well. Good for them. Vrabel won't make every decision correctly.
I would like to know if Bourne asked for his release: because you can clearly see that Tarzan Holllins is not a good Receiver. The amount of snaps he's logging is criminal: I don't get the love affair with the guy. Have you seen the amount of yardage Bourne's put up since he left with Mac Jones??

I dont think its as black or white based on stats. You have to factor in like schemes and also consider that Bourne is the best they have in SF right now so he gets more passes his way. Would he be the best here? I dont think so. So his stats here as a #3 would not be as good as him being a #1 somewhere else. He obviously in training camp didnt do anything that led the staff to believe he was a legit #2 or better.

Oh and just for you. Since I know you love him so much

I am not sure Peppers is going to play across from Woodson in the deep part of the field. I think Vrabel and crew have moved Mapu forward as well to the LB core.

Dugger and Hawkins play deep with Woodson. I assume a 2026 top priority is to sign or draft a safety to play next to Woodson.
I remember peppers in 2023 was playing at an all pro level essentially being the FS and he came up and took care of the run.. as you mentioned it may just have to be Dugger, Hawkins, Woodson unless we make a move for say a Buddha baker..

Tarzan Hollins 70 yards - Bourne 371.

Wow Tarzan is on pace to surpass his season high 300 yards..
The need to find a way to get Pop and Diggs on the Field together. Pop is doing major damage on 17 snaps. And Tarzan for all his Elite Bocking our Running game is practically non existent. But I ain't one to gossip so you didn't hear it from me.

Do you think Bourne would have 371 with the Pats?
It's been pointed out that Pop and Diggs are not playing at the same time. I don't think any of us here predicted that scenario. I had Pop as being a huge beneficiary with Diggs. Not him on the sidelines while Diggs is in.

Pop was starting at the beginning of the season.. the role he had last week may have been found gold.. because pop is quicker and faster than average slot wr.. he can run deep routes and he's playing with a mobile QB not a statue..

Bill Barnwell had a piece on proposed trades. He was proposing Duggar to the Texans with the Pats getting Dameon Pierce in return. I remember Pierce coming out of college and liked his running style and he was good with the Texans his rookie year.

That’d actually be good for both sides. Only question is how much cap do we eat on his contract.

I don't think cap is an issue. Remember we have to spend a certain amount of cap to stay within the rules of the CBA and NFL policies. I don't think RKK is going to be needing to eat out of soup kitchen anytime soon...

Nice find *Dameon Pierce* heard someone talking about that Guy below. He has produced in this league: his 5'7 stature might be just what we need to get through those small holes our OL is creating.
