Shaheed is growing on me. I love Olave, but I do worry about his concussion history. The only thing is will Shaheed’s skill set be redundant with Kyle Williams waiting in the wings, or the more speed the merrier? Kid is explosive..He’s also a ST All-Pro…

So Shaheed's a bit of a binky for me, although he gets shut down by good corners.

I will say, you get Shaheed here, Marcus Jones gets lots more defensive snaps, you can make Jones a situational returner, and still have a pretty damned good one in Shaheed.

I'm adding @Ian on this. I know that there was some sort of bug after the last major update that made it impossible to click on certain parts of the screen, so it could be some sort of issue on the server side.

Good idea. Thinking more about it, that function like edit would be allowed only for the post author so it might be something in the conditional tests for displaying those options.

The lack of self awareness is incredible. He's also referred to a bunch of different TE draft prospects as Baby Gronk, despite them being nothing like Gronk in play style, stature or ability and made complete 180's on different draft prospects based on very little, going from one extreme hot take to the polar opposite.

Dugger (and Wooden) both had more reps than ANY of the corners, ALL of them. Schooler has ZERO defensive reps. And, YES, that just might be more important than the reps in the BUF game.

Is Dugger one of the team's top starters because he had more reps than Gonzo? No, of course not. Dugger is NOT a liability compared to the alternatives of Schooler and Pettus.

To your points.. the alternatives.. this goes back to why the mystery of releasing peppers is still... well a mystery! Dugger was on the block.. no suitors because the contract and declining play. Dugger not to long ago was a top 10 safety in the league.. the ankle last season has really hampered his effectiveness. He's never been great in coverage.. I'm sure kurh has to know that using Dugger up around the line of scrimmage is probably his best use right now. He's a liability in coverage. Seeing schooler on the field for any amount of time on defense tells you everything about the Safety group outside of Woodson.

How did Schooler get snaps over Dugger at times if Dugger played 100% of the snaps?

Did you watch the Buffalo game? I was referring to schooler being in on snaps where as you'd think Dugger would have.. it was just odd to see that's all..it's just telling where the safety group is all together opposite Woodson.

It was only for a few snaps, less than 5?, so who knows what they were doing. Dugger played 100% of the snaps in the next game so I don't see Schooler playing a couple of snaps as anything.

I assume Dugger will play a lot against Tennessee. His ankle is still not the same. Maybe he will be 100% towards the end of the year, maybe never again.

Agreed. I was just making the point that had we kept peppers.. a combination of peppers and Woodson likely would be better off than what we have now. Your right and his ankle has impacted his range and abilities. Dugger at his best is a far better player than what he's shown. He needs to strictly be up around the line or helping out in run support on the edges. Coverage he should be never involved in.

Bourne is doing well, J Andrews is doing well. Good for them. Vrabel won't make every decision correctly.

I am not sure Peppers is going to play across from Woodson in the deep part of the field. I think Vrabel and crew have moved Mapu forward as well to the LB core.

Dugger and Hawkins play deep with Woodson. I assume a 2026 top priority is to sign or draft a safety to play next to Woodson.
