IF Jakobi Meyers is on the Trade block we should be interested. I would part ways with a Fifth Rounder. Meyers got better even after he left here; and I don't care about YAC.
I like JM twin.. only thing is we would have to unload a wr.. it would create some position redundancy. Diggs, Boutte, would they take pop and a 5th?

Yes, I recall seeing some of that from fans. I myself even was duped thinking juju would be a better option I was thinking of the juju in Pittsburgh. Myers has really improved his game and runs different routes.
You weren't the only one we brought a cat in the bag. We didn't get what we paid for.

Twin: our ultimate dream is A.J. Brown but Jakobi Meyers would suffice: he would get McDaniels Offense Instantly.

You have a great point twin.. totally forgot he played for JM... great points.

I don't believe that writing an opinion in BIG LETTERS gives it more credibility.

Not saying I disagree or agree with you.

But, I just think it's an internal mechanism to the new Pats (Vrabel-Wolf-Kraft) regime & I really dont care about mechanisms!
Just give me more of 2025 draft in 2026 please.

I would just ask that we dont continually argue the same point in multiple threads based purely on opinions with nothing to back it up. I'd prefer even better that as i said above since i dont care, that it wasnt argued AT ALL; but that is too much to ask - so I wont.

PF1645,

You know my affinity for wanting AJ Brown. But I swear to you my guy.. he's the piece on the outside that we need. Still young enough to grow with drake..

I can dream can't it...

You are like a kid in a candy store

That was just a post reply to 40.. on a clarifying of who has the final say on thrle roster. But your point is well taken!...

Twin we are 11th in offense and 9th in defense Vrabel have brought us back to respectability

Patriots need a deep threat receiver to take the top off of defenses. Probably in the draft. Diggs might be good for another year or so.
Josh/Drake have been doing a great job of stretching the field and spreading the field from the first game.

Boutte has actually been doing more than his part while Diggs (I think) has only just gotten back to full health and effectiveness.

So really they now have deep threats on both sides of the ball, with Bouttee averaging 16 ypc (compared to Diggs and Rhamondre Stevenson who average about 12 yards a catch)

So I think they were already benefitting from keeping Ds somewhat honest but now they REALLY don't know WHAT is coming or from WHERE.

That makes a big difference when the game is on the line and you are in a "must catch" situation. We've had great offenses in the past that would feature as few as 2 WRs leaving Ds with no doubt where the ball was going and giving them no disincentive not to double team those players.

With this team it could be any of the WRs, TEs or RBs on the field, and Ds know they double team anyone at their own detriment.

Your right.. silly me... we don't need AJ, DJ Moore, Olave... those bums... we got Mack Hollins anyway!...

They could get more talent at WR but why risk it with a vet who clearly is a cancer. It's working out with Diggs, but that doesn't mean it's gonna work out with AJ. You run the risk of someone who's gonna have a negative effect on what clearly is a team with a ton of chemistry.

If our passing game was in the ****s, then yes you risk it but right now our passing game is executing at a pretty high level.

I'd rather them develop Kyle, save their draft picks to build the team. We have more urgent issues at LB.

You make good points Condon. But here me out here. I absolutely love Diggs and everything he means to the team and Drake personally helping Drake to become elite. Diggs is 31 on a 3 year deal, definitely develop Kyle he needs to see targets down field. AJ Brown is 28, a proven winner. I never heard anything about him being a so called cancer, ect. I believe that's an unfair characteristization. He's not being properly utilized in Philadelphia for some reason. Who knows? That whole eagles team seems to have some issues not just AJ. I have some hope for k. Williams to work out but we have not been an organization great at drafting and development of WRs. This roster all together is still incomplete and Vrabel needs at least another draft to add to the team. If you can make smart moves that helps the team now and in the future then you do it. Just because I want AJ I'm still cognizant of the team needing to save there picks.

I would say AJ is considered a malcontent. I think that's a general consensus and why there's all these rumors of him wanting out of Philly even though they are the favorites.

I'm always gonna be wary of players who are trying to force their way out of winning teams because they're not getting their 'stats'.

If Vrabel does pulls the trigger, I'm gonna trust he's gonna make sure AJ comes on board and leaves the BS behind.

Cancer really I would throw in both Kyle Williams and Pop Douglas and make a deal. Are any of their ceilings A.J. Brown ?? I don't think so: I love malcontent WR's; more times than not they're very good.

Twin: remember when we first signed Malcontent Stefon Diggs?? Many on this board *not us* didn't welcome him: but they're sure liking that leader now. My my how the tides have turned: people bend with the wind around here.

Absolutely twin.. they know who they are too.. now drinking the pool aid! The Malcontent Diggs is helping Drake become elite.

I'll gladly take AJ Malcontent..

Get the damn running game going. Let’s utilize Henderson more. Then play action opens up. Job gets easier on the QB.

Diggs has really grown up since his diva days just a few years ago in Buffalo. No one expected this kind of maturity and leadership outside his mother.
