Captain, i was just reading how good the jills offense is and i thought how the hell are we going to beat the jills in buffalo. Than i remembered many games like this under both parcells and belichick were beating the other team seem almost impossible but somehow we did. Bothe parcells and BB came up with winning game planes. Just a couple of years ago we beat buffalo in buffalo with jones only throwing six passes. I'm not worried about the pats offense they have mcdaniels, i'm worried about the defense and stopping buffalos running game. I don't expect to win tomorrow night, but i wouldn't be shocked if we do. We'll see if vrable can carry the mantal of past pats coaches
We have competent offensive and defensive lines, competent coaching, good QB. These are things we haven't had recently. With that and good injury luck, you can stick with anybody.

Also our db's are improving with Gonzalez back and Marcus playing well, and all of our skill positions are also improved. LB & safety are probably the biggest question marks but I think they'll do ok tomorrow night.

Hopefully we can play a clean game in terms of turnovers and unforced penalties. If so the game will be competitive till the end.

So , here is the thing for me . I don't think we are necessarily going to win but I think we are going to give then a game. Once we are in the game than who knows. Here are some of the things I want to see happen.

1.The running game improve. That gets done by having Campbell and Wilson on the left side getting better in the run game.

2. Getting more production out of Boutte and Douglass. The Pats ave been moving the ball by using the TE's a lot but teams will start to try to take that away. They can't be predictable they need to switch it up.

3. Put more pressure on the QB with just 4 men and no having to blitz as much.

4. See another shut down performance from Gonzalez .

Buffalo is tops in the league against the pass, but I’m sure getting gashed in the run game has skewed those numbers.

It’s pretty simple really, stop the run and run the ball. Our run D numbers are misleading, we haven’t been dominate against the run as our numbers would suggest, maybe because aside from last game teams have been passing on us much too easily. Getting Gonzo back last week was huge.

If we let Cook go off, really decreases our chances.

Josh is great and can certainly will his team to a win if Cook is ineffective, but if both Josh and Cook are producing it will be incredibly tough sledding.

The Bills are gonna know they were in a football game when it's over, win or lose. Vrabel will have our team up for this, and good execution will keep it close. Buffalo's good but not unbeatable.

Talking about the golf ball thing:
It's almost like Allen did that as a setup...
Might even be funnier if Brady had showed him a ball with the Lamar Hunt Trophy on it...Allen hasn't even been to a SB...but I guess the Lombardi was more effective because any fan would recognize it...and it's really funny.

Taking an old school view of this game.

The pressure's on the Bills. They're Home. 4--0. Best record in the AFC. One of the top QB's in the League so far this season. Cruising to the Playoffs, barring injuries. National TV.

The Pats are a feisty 2--2 (maybe 3--1 except for bad reffing....but woulda-shoulda-coulda doesn't show up in the standings). Coming off a dominant performance against a bad team. Starting to feel their potential, but still long shots for the Playoffs.

If the Pats D keeps this game competitive (one score or so) into the Fourth Quarter (they could do that) and if the O doesn't turn the ball over (unfortunately, that's a big "IF"!), this could be interesting.

The spread this morning was 8.0 or 8.5. I'm not smart enough to bet more than a beer on NFL games, but I'd be tempted to take the Pats on Sunday...with the points.

Pats are doing the all blue look again to match the Bills all white look.

I got us winning an upset. Bills 4-0 record is overrated, 3/4 wins were against the Jets, Saints and Dolphins.

This may actually work out. Cook is electric on the edge, perhaps Jennings can set a hard edge and combat that somewhat. With him and Landry and White manning the edges, running there could be tough.
That’s the hope. Also may get one or two less encroachment or offsides calls.

But we should absolutely lock up Chason up longtime.

Keep Cook contained and keep Allen in the pocket, play tight man coverage with Gonzo, Davis and Jones.

That's what I'm thinking. This shouldn't be much of a pass rush game from the outside, get our pressure from the interior and just have our stout outside guys keep contain. Getting your DEs too far upfield against Allen is a killer.
