Best analysis so far. They got not shot. JV versus Varsity on their field. Go get a head start on your Monday to do list this Sunday night...
Most Bills fans that Ive seen figure that NE has no chance.

The fact that Maye has played very good, is irrelevant because Allen is the reigning MVP.

When you look back on it. Nix is being described by many, including jimmance, much liked they talked about Brady for the first decade plus of his career. A decent QB on a great team. It REALLY used to piss us off.

If the object of the game is to see who WINS, then Denver and Washington are the big winners, and as far as "draft value" go Denver wins by a mile
By that theory Trent Dilfer was the best QB in 2000.
Denver would trade Nix and a #1 for Drake Maye. 100%, No doubt.

Nix has the BEST setup in the NFL to succeed and he's not looking great, can't throw past 5 yards accurately. He's at the bottom of all the advanced metrics despite having the most time to throw and the least pressures. He s not decent, he is bad, by every measurable metric.

Daniel's issue is his size, and he needs to run because he's not a great passer. He's already been hurt twice. He's not a great pocket passer but is in a great scheme that makes it easier for him. In 2024 he had a knack for making big plays even though he was inconsistent with accuracy.

What Nix and Daniels have are excellent OC's with schemes that really help a QB throw to open receivers. Marcus Mariota has played better than Daniels this year. MARCUS MARIOTA!

There are QB's you can win with, and there are QB's that will win for you.
As Brady said, the OC situation is so important, put a good QB with the 32nd rank OC and he'll look bad, put the worst QB with the best OC and he'll look adequate assuming players around him are good.

We should be very worried that this D cannot stop Josh Allen.
Yup, this but you should expect that they won't be able to stop the Bills Offense. Nobody really slows the Bills, they should score 30 against you if you have an average defense. The real question is can our Offense keep pace.

The defense has played below expectations while the offense is playing above. We have a top 10 offense and a bottom 10 defense. At least having a good offense gives you a shot. The NFL makes it easy on offense; every good team gives up 20+ points regularly vs good QBs.
Bills gave up 40 to Ravens, Ravens 41 to Bills but could list any Super Bowl contender and get similar games.
Pats need to go in thinking they need to score 30+

Bills scored 30 or more every game this year, since week 7 last year, not including the last Pats game they scored 30 in 13 of the last 14 regular season games. One time they did not was the 24 vs Pats last year.
In their last 11 home games they scored 30 or more 10 times, the 24 vs Pats last year again the outlier.

Bills have 17 games at home in a row scoring 24 or more.

You have somewhat of a biased take if the QB is not named Drake Maye. What if Bo Nix turns out to be the next Drew Brees?? Your criticism about Jayden Daniels go right over my head: some guys just end up in the right situations: lucky them. Ps Penix Jr had a 298 and 300yds game sandwiched between a couple of so so games: I thought he wasn't an NFL QB according to you.

We need to score at least 27 no turnovers to have a snowballs' chance in hell of winning. Our Defense will have to make a few stops: we Don't have the horses to keep up with Allen in a marathon.

Looking forward to see how Buffalo’s d will attack Will Campbell. Was watching a podcast this morning and the question was asked? Will they try to lineup Greg Rosseau over him on the left? He’d be out of position but I’m wondering if they feel they could use his wingspan and length as an advantage? 83’and 34’. So far Campbell has proven all the doubter wrong, this would be another fu to the measurement police with yet another successful outing.

Got a good feeling Henderson put’s on a light show Sunday night. Need Diggs to continue where he left off last week.

How about Buffalo turns it over 27 times?

We can score on Buffalo defense.. we have more at wr than Buffalo. our TEs are equal to thier TEs.. we have a better all around coaching advantage over Buffalo.

I give Buffalo the edge at RB due to cook. He's a baller.

Buffalo have two things going for them.. MVP Allen, and the home crowd advantage.

We need our #2 WR to show up Sunday night: aside from Diggs our WR's have been pedestrian. The Bills have no such problems.

Tell me you didnt watch that game without telling me...

The Bills slept walk through that Saints game. They were essentially yawning the entire game. They aren't going to unload against an inferior appointment and give away plays that can be useful against better opponents.

McDermott has talked about that.
Went back and forth when our game against Panthers was over in basically in the 2nd quarter.. Buffalo was competing IMO.. some time uncommon opponents can present challenges.. we faced this plenty over the years during the Brady era.. remember that 2007 game against the eagles? where we nearly lost.. they weren't a contender that season really and had a back up QB.

The bills didn't win that game until the 4th quarter. We've been an inferior opponent to Buffalo since Brady left.

It's a new offense with new players...It doesn't happen overnight.

I agree twin.. our TE have been great dont forget that aspect. Go figure Diggs have more yards than AJ Brown right now and catches...

No we don't Twin: Shakir - Coleman and Palmer are better than any three we can put together. I didn't even mention E Moore who's world's better than 0ur#4: but then again who ain't.

True, I think Maye has to get to that point. Huge strides so far. But making everyone better around you comes from Coaching, QB and line play combined. We’ve seen Thornton have a couple good games and Bourne go off for 10 catches 140 last night. This is where this team needs to get to if they are gonna compete on the regular. Guys stepping up because the system works and the QB can deliver to anyone.
