Amen to that, he is so lost in zone
There was one wide open completion in his zone and he was trying to double Gonzalez’ guy.

That said, and accepting that Eliss is terrible, he did make a couple of nice plays yesterday. Far from enough but better than usual.

It’s like you guys don’t want a great QB….smdh…go root for the Jets..

It’s shocking that “fans” watching this guy play can make negative comments. He’s already the second best QB in franchise history (by talent not yet by accomplishments)

Bills have the 2nd highest scoring team in football. I guess their offensive players really suck. I think you are leaving out Coleman at WR as well. Leads the team in receptions and receiving yards. Cook is averaging 100 yards a game rushing, and is a proven dangerous weapon (receiving as well).

anything less than two starting guards would leave a very big hole on the line. lol.
yes, and Onwenu was questionable for the game.

Demon at LT…

Pats need to be perfect to have a chance to beat Buffalo, it would be a HUGE accomplishment. No turnovers, less penalties, big game by everyone on offense. Odds of that happening 2 games in a row, kinda low. For a team that is 2-2 and beat themselves in both losses, beating Buffalo would be huge.

Josh Allen could have a bad game, and still win, that’s how great he is. And he has a slew of weapons Maye wishes he had. The Pats need their defense to have a massive game.

That being said, if they could keep it close, anything could happen. Go Pats !!!!

It will be a good test of where they are at. Now they have had a month to get used to playing together, and the coaches have seen what they are good at, what they aren't good at, what to keep, and what to get rid of.

Let’s pump the brakes a bit on Maye. I heard Eisen compare him to Brady lol come on. He’s a raw rookie showing some progression and nothing more than that right now.

I remember only a couple weeks ago that people were ready to move on from him. Lol

Eisen was simply highlighting stats, just so happened Brady was number 1 on that stat list and Maye 2. He wasn't really comparing Maye to Brady top be fair.

Dunning Kruger effect, only 20% of the people put in the effort to learn enough to have an informed opinion.

From Giardi:
"He's becoming a problem," a scout from an AFC team texted me. "You can see his comfort in the system grow, and he's starting to understand what he can and can not get away with."

I watch tape on a lot of QB's. Stats can be misleading. You really need to watch almost every play to compare QB's.

Drake Maye is a franchise QB. He just is. The only argument, to me, is what tier/level of franchise QB he will be.

He’s not a rookie. He is so far close to the most accurate qb in the history of the league. 74% complete and the record for a season is 74.4%
His arm talent is A+. He is running effectively. His vision and reading of defenses is far beyond his years. He is making almost no mistakes.

People who were ready to move on from him were mirin’s who know nothing about the game. Disagree? Show me one person who felt that who has a clue.

Hard not to consider him a rookie with the mess here last year. I’d like to see more good football from him and be less fumble prone.

Many of my questions have been answered, as sort of a 'pump the brakes on Maye' guy coming into the season and after week 1. And even week 1 there was a lot of good mixed in with the bad.

Now that we've had a month to watch him, it's hard to come to any other conclusion. He's the guy going forward. He'll make mistakes, have bad throws here and there, probably a heroball moment or two, but Josh has him doing things he's comfortable with, and it just seems to be getting better each week.

This makes me laugh because during draft process I saw Maye comped to Daniel Jones. People used it to say the Maye was not very good. If he is comped to this D Jones then its a win. lol
