I asked this during the GDT, but how is this double head bob with an added head shake not a penalty? This was on a 4th and 5 play at 6:39 in the 3rd quarter.

The NFL has been allowing the OL to cheat for years starting around 2015 and it's really getting out of hand. Look at all the activity with the G alone getting up and twisting his body to communicate with the QB. You couldn't do this back in the day as the entire line couldn't move after being set. QB's had to run to the LOS to communicate with the line. I remember the first team that started this **** was the Steelers in the 2015 opener. Now you have G's doing the jab to the C or punching air to alert him to snap the ball. It's bush league **** the NFL needs to get rid of.

Ref mercy rule for the Panthers having Bryce Young. IF all Young's Linemen were eligible receivers: he would still find a way to miss them. Young is horrid.

By all statistical measures, Maye is a top 10 QB in the league right now. Except for QBR.

As an aside, for some reason it took them hours to post his QBR for yesterday's game. Even most of the 4:15 games had theirs posted before NE's.

In any case, his QBR yesterday was 94.6, the second highest single-game score this season (behind a 95.0 from Jared Goff in a 52-21 win over duh Bearz).

I can't stand it when teams are getting their asses kicked and then have the nerve to score a TD late. Very classless.
What better time to practice things and people have incentives in their contracts, so it feels like you need to get over it.

Blowout win and a minus 10 minute differential in time of possession. Wild...
2 DEF/ST TDs? Who/what was the second one? There were no takeaways…

If we played these four teams all year, we would be in the playoffs.
==========
We are where most expected us to be. We are on the path 6-10 wins as we thought before the season started.

I'd put us on the higher end since we have had production from virtually all the free agents and draft choices. We certainly COULD have had a few duds among so many. That hasn't happened. For example, we worried about IOL's. We now have THREE starting centers and TWO starting guards. Our defensive front seven starters are all new except for Barmore who played little least year. All have performed well. [Gibbens is finally playing].

(I think he was joking)

Im not too familiar with the qbr metric and whether most use that or rating, but if you go by the traditional rating hes #5

And a lot more yards call it a hunch.
How many games have the Pats lost where the Pats last offensive play was a failed pass to Douglas?

We had the interception last year with a miscommunication between Maye and Douglas, and last week vs Pittsburgh where Douglas ran back past the 1st down marker.

Is this just a small sample size or maybe something significant?

That place for Lamar will be short lived.

I hate ESPN's QBR. But I was just pointing it out.
