Do you seriously believe what you just wrote?

I asked this during the GDT, but how is this double head bob with an added head shake not a penalty? This was on a 4th and 5 play at 6:39 in the 3rd quarter.

I didn't think they had this type of game in them, at least not this early in the season with how the Raiders and Steelers games went. Maye's efficiency plus growing chemistry with Josh and Diggs are legit reasons for optimism. There were times in Mac's rookie year that we collectively felt good, but we may be feeling great about this team's future two months from now if the Pats can rack up some wins in the upcoming soft part of their schedule and Maye's ascent continues.

Edit: also need to mention Will Campbell. If he plays like an all pro LT that changes everything. He's exceed my expectations greatly to this point. I was so wrong about this dude - was expecting him to get spanked early on his career, especially with a fellow rookie to his right (or JAG Ben Brown as it was yesterday).

I will give props to two players I've been critical of. First, Ben Brown. I've been bad mouthing him for 9 months and wanted him gone. He did well yesterday, and he was opposite some good Dlinemen. Second, Drake Maye. For the first time, he looked calm, poised and in control. If he can continue that, we have something to look forward too.

By all statistical measures, Maye is a top 10 QB in the league right now. Except for QBR.

Pats need to be perfect to have a chance to beat Buffalo, it would be a HUGE accomplishment. No turnovers, less penalties, big game by everyone on offense. Odds of that happening 2 games in a row, kinda low. For a team that is 2-2 and beat themselves in both losses, beating Buffalo would be huge.

Josh Allen could have a bad game, and still win, that’s how great he is. And he has a slew of weapons Maye wishes he had. The Pats need their defense to have a massive game.

That being said, if they could keep it close, anything could happen. Go Pats !!!!

Who do the Bills have on offense that is elite besides Josh?

Cook is good but he's not Derrick Henry or Saquon level. I like our RB room better than theirs.

Shakir is a decent slot guy but again nowhere near Tyreek who defenses have to key on. Diggs is proving that he can be a very good slot receiver. I would take him over Shakir.

I would take Henry and Hooper over Kinkaid and Knox.

Josh carries that offense and if he's not playing well, we should beat them if we don't shoot ourselves on the foot. That said, Josh will probably play well because he's just that good.

They kept putting him out there even as it started getting out of hand. They treated him the same as other starters I thought maybe he should have come out a touch earlier than the rest.
He needed the reps, no problem from me leaving him out there.

Blowout win and a minus 10 minute differential in time of possession. Wild...

I wanted to highlight this one run play that was designed beautifully. Although I will say I am pretty sure Campbell gets away with an illegal man downfield to start the blocking lol

This was at 11:46 in the 3rd. Henderson comes from the slot position to take it the other way. Great blocking all around.

Kinda makes sense though, first drive for Carolina was like 6 minutes or something, and the Patriots were getting chunk plays all day.

Carolina had more than one 8-play 22 yard drive it seemed like.

?? But it's a running play. No such thing as illegal man downfield on a running play.

I only saw the first couple of drives before I left for a family event, and have since only watched the highlights. I saw Reiss' report listing Hawkins as suffering a hamstring injury. Was the injury visible on the broadcast, and if so how bad did it look?

5 hours of that TOP differential was the Andy Dalton led TD drive though. Or maybe it just felt that way...

The huge punt returns skew this outta whack.

Jeebus! Be happy, can't you? Actually, he is a great leader and communicator. Didn't you like the way he shut down the crap about Terrell Williams, as if there was some connection between his life-threatening medical problems and whether the Pats beat the Cats? That's not being an *******, it's being a decent human being.
Really big into hasty judgements, eh?

Where have I seen this before?
It worked great until it didn't. Maybe history will repeat itself; maybe it will not. I am not much given to hero worship.
