Pain and simple - don't turn the ball over five times and this is a different game. The players need to do better. Thats not on Vrabel. It is on the players. There is no two ways about it. Sloppy all game long.

I saw Stevenson back out there many times. Now maybe that was pass pro stuff but even then, he should never have seen the field again.

He also turned the ball over 3 times, pretty sure one was a pick 6, and ran himself into a concussion, in a 20 point loss against an absolute dogshit Jets team. I'm not sure you're just pretending to be ******ed anymore.

No it didn’t. Maye had two or three bad plays and played very well otherwise. He sustained some really long beautiful drives that unfortunately ended with turnovers. One was on Stevenson. Can’t blame Maye for the RB fumbling. And he was perfect passing for most of the second half.

And you are right. Why should bother with context when you are going to make up your own narrative.

No one is blaming Maye for the loss.

yes but the offense had so many opportunities after multiple defensive stops and the INT.

Yes, technically, you're right, but you just had to run out there AGAIN after *another* turnover. They gave up like 200 total yards.

I’m really not that upset. Disappointed because we outplayed them thoroughly and didnt get a win.
There were a lot of good things and this team is moving in the right direction.
This is a playoff team.
We score 35+ without the turnovers.
Maye is the real deal. His arm talent is special.
Today for the first time I saw the defense playing on the other side of the line of scrimmage. Most of what Pittsburgh got was due to bad officiating calls.
The TE initiated contact with Austin and tried to push off. The call on Davis was terrible, the ball was uncatchable, if landed beyond the sideline stripe.

Teams like this learn from losing games they should have won.
This team has talent. It’s going to win a lot of games and the growing pains will be eased by the weak schedule.

Hey, I'm pissed. One of the worst losses because they were the better team on the field today.
They moved the ball well. The Defense contained Rogers' offense on all but 2 drives.

They just showed their youth and inexperience. But, they showed they can improve.

Another thing about this game, and it was driving me ****ing nuts the first game...nothing deep. No deep throws other than one to boutte that drew a PI. Maye (and the rest of the team for that matter) is way too mistake prone to expect them to consistently drive 10, 12, 14 clean plays for touchdowns. They have absolutely got to throw deep and try to generate some chunk plays.

This has been the theme all season... why guys that stretch the field are not playing more is mind blowing.. Williams and Boutte should be lined up outside.. Henderson should be the starting back.. on the other side of the ball defense was impressive..

He turned it over twice today and had a clean INT dropped.

i guess we should give Maye some credit today. He ran him self into another concussion and stayed in the game.
