Vrabel going for it on his own 15 in first half was complete insanity. Did not impact the game but what was he thinking???

Turnovers obviously killed us, but the refs were calling some horrible penalties on NE. They had every reason to lay down, but they fought it out. I’m excited about this team going forward despite the loss.
You're playing A-aron. He still gets refball calls. Comes with the territory.

They didn’t let being down 14-0 cause them to sit back and just let this one go.

They still played stupid

Its been a sunday ritual for over fifty years to watch the patriots on sunday afternoon. I don't know how much longer i can put up with the ineptness and unprofessionalism of this team. I had high hopes when vrable took over because even if the team consisted mostly of JAGs at least they'ed be disciplined JAGs . So far its like Mayo never left in that regard.

Curran is ridiculous, blaming Maye for the end zone int. **** Curran
It was 100% Maye’s fault. He telegraphed the pass by staring down Boutte and you have to throw the ball on a arc in the back in the EZ not throw a low ball

Mondre is a fkn CHUMP, I've finally admitted that.

Maye was the most responsible for the loss, we know Stevenson blows but we had survived all the RB fumbles and had the ball 14-14 in Steelers territory with a chance to take the lead and he had plenty of chances to throw the ball away.

People point to young Josh Allen but he was also winning games by his second season, that was a young Jameis Winston type play where the obvious talent even when he was playing well was being crippled by dumb decisions, he's basically got the season to grow out of that kind of regular mistake if you're still doing that during your third season you're just a losing quarterback.

Any Josh Allen comparisons are way too premature, but Maye doesn’t look like Winston at all. Winston’s completion percentage always sucked. He had a great arm but no accuracy. Maye went 13 throws without incompletion in the second half. Winston would have games in his second season where he barely completed 13 passes. He had four games in his second season where he completed 17 or less passes. Only one game did have less than 35 passing attempts.

I’m just so exhausted having watched that. But hey at least I felt something unlike in every game last year.

Like I said in the GDT. Cut Douglas. Cut Stevenson.

You can't turn the ball over 5 times and expect to win. A waste of a fantastic defensive effort, and another pretty damn decent day by Drake Mate.
The problem is the roster isn't good enough to cut them...

Another thing about this game, and it was driving me ****ing nuts the first game...nothing deep. No deep throws other than one to boutte that drew a PI. Maye (and the rest of the team for that matter) is way too mistake prone to expect them to consistently drive 10, 12, 14 clean plays for touchdowns. They have absolutely got to throw deep and try to generate some chunk plays.
