Yess: taking away your best or half of the Field = Advantage Defense. Gonzo is solid plays both the Run and Pass effectively.
Scary that they are relying on his durability to have an above average defense then.

I just think that there are deeper problems than Gonzo’s absence. LB depth and that their starters can’t tackle. And then the shoddy safety play.

Remember Bob Sanders Indianapolis?? Seems like he was always injured: even though he could lay the lumber.

Trading and paying for Bradley Chubb was idiotic. 4chan is not a bell cow back. Tua being paid was like Purdy in SF. Too many mediocre guys are really cashing in during this era of the NFL. However, had Miami drafted Herbert, we might be having a different conversation about Miami.

Achane may not be a bell cow back but he’s really dangerous with the ball in his hands.

The fish are a classic example of a team that didn’t know where their “ window “ was. They went all in a couple of years before they could have been ready to go all in. It was like the people screaming for the Patriots to go after Myles Garrett, that’s a move you make when you are on the cusp, not building towards it. Vrabel understands that and said as much when asked if they were in on Parsons.

We're pretty good.
You guys can bash each other over ****.
Let's see

He will have his struggles as well, all rookie tackles do, but his size, athleticism, mean streak, and coachability will make him a very good left tackle for them for a long long time.
What are you talking about, don't you know there are several posters on this forum that have already made the determination he is an OG......even before the regular season started!! SMH.

Diggs cracks me up

Or maybe they just got some bad concussions and sucked in the cold.

Yes Davis played well and I also thought Marcus Jones played well. Other than that, generally speaking, Miami was able to do whatever they wanted and drive down the field at will. That's not going to be nearly good enough against good teams.
One key is that Jones replaced Austin as the #2 CB. Jones played 100% of the reps as opposed to 63% against the raiders.

What I always found hilarious was their insistence that they could see the difference in 1/3 of an inch in his arm length. But I guess if you go through life desperately seeking that extra 1/3 of an inch then you become finely tuned to looking for it.

The monkey bars....hang tough kids, get that extra 1/3".

the difference is skill level between the best and worst teams is not all that great (well - except for the Jete). Teams look for any edge, so if any of these armchair talent evaluators actually had skills, they would be working for the scouting group at the college or professional level. Since they aren't...
