Why haven't Drake's fundamentals been fixed?

And again he does it, SB1 turns a thread about Drake Maye’s fundamentals into a BB bashing thread.

Oh yeah, and when you call him an irrational hater, he will pretend he isn’t a hater.

Actually it’s more like you said something that you pretended was fact as usual, I demonstrated that you were wrong and now you’re triggered. Get it right skippy.

You prove here every day what a crayon eating fool you are.

Silly insults = paragon of the triggered. Understandable.

Belichick played a major role in Brady’s development as a Quarterback, and Brady knew he could take Bledsoe’s job because he realized that Belichick wanted a quarterback who would make every read the way Belichick did, and put the ball where Belichick wanted it to go, as opposed to Bledsoe, who always wanted to go downfield and make the big play. And Brady met with Belichick every week throughout his career to go over the upcoming game and how Belichick wanted it to go. It’s ironic that “ game manager” was the derogatory term his critics put on Brady, because that ended up being his greatest strength. Brady could pair his play with the defensive game plan each week, whether it was to go out and out as many points up as possible as fast as possible, or to take the air out of the ball against guys like Manning so as to help the defense limit Manning to under 10 drive opportunities. He could also alter his approach to slow down or speed up the offense depending on the game situations. His record at home when leading at the half was absurd.

My apology signbabybill for trashing Belichick so hard in this post.
Bill has also stated Brady was better than Bledsoe in 2001 preseason. Bledsoe's contract and Brady's inexperience factored in to him not starting.

Bill inherited Bledsoe and had a hand in drafting Brady. I truly believe Bill never wanted Bledsoe from the start. Brady was kind of "his guy".

Bumping to see if anyone saw issues with mechanics or all of the other fabricated attacks against Maye today.

Maye made a good chunk of us eat crow including me. Great flawless game. Loved his improvised runs and the one where he beat judon for the TD. Only issue was the missed pass on 2nd down when he could have run .

Hope he builds more chemistry with diggs who seems unstoppable in zone defense . Looks like pop will have an super underwhelming 2025 , big contrast to preseason.

Forgive them for they know not what they do.

Maye has been on a team with totally different coaches each season and the worst roster in the league. And I'm not sure that the ownership isn't a problem too.

The kid will be lucky if he can turn things around in 2 or 3 years.
Hey loser, he played a good game today. QBR 137.3, 19/23, 230yds, 2 TD, 31 yds, 1 TD.

Yup, Drake was great today.

Be nice to people. Remember that everyone here happens to be a Patriots fan even if some commentary appears misguided.

Oh I doubt it. People like 1960 are not actual fans. They are trolls who get off by complaining. Its not about being nice. Its about being realistic. The fool bashed Drake for having a good game. How more insufferable can a person be?

Drake was good today. Still raw and still has a ton of work to do to get better. Nice to see it though.

This was exactly the game plan they should have run last week. I can really only explain it by overanalysis going into the Raiders game. Coaching staff, QB, everyone. If Drake Maye is throwing less than 30 times, there's a really good chance they're winning the game.

I don’t think he disliked Bledsoe, but he knew that Bledsoe could be shut down, he had done it with the Jets, that’s also why he didn’t mind trading him to Buffalo, he knew they could beat him.

Damn, the new name of Miami’s stadium is now Miami Gardens. I wonder if Bob tried to get a handy while he was there?

That's actually the name of the town it's in, Miami Gardens is like...maybe 10 miles out of Miami proper? Like how the U is actually in Coral Gables.

Thanks, but I still think Bob would be looking for a handy.

I don't know why you're so dedicated to the "fabricated attacks" label lmao. Even Maye H I M S E L F addressed his yips. It's okay to call out a trend and still hope for the best. These two things can be true, Ring! I think you, of all people, who can be very forward with a player's/coach's/team's shortcomings, can understand. It's just something that was a trend and people pointed that out, and I'd say - outside of some doomers - most people chalked it up to just that, the yips. And saw it as something that can be fixed (rather than a defining quality of the QB).
