Guesses on the Active Roster for Sunday?

The horse has died!

We all know that you didn't want Hollins on the team, don't want him to be active, and if active only want him to have a minimal role, perhaps ST's and in the Red Zone.
============
His past stats aren't that different from #4 and #5 WR's on other teams, but that isn't very relevant IMO. Vrabel has made his decision and as is always the case, some posters disagree with the coach. Josh will decide how much of a role Hollins has and some will disagree with that choice.
Not that you just responded to one, but most knowledgeable NFL fans understand that specific passing plays are called in the huddle and that the other WRs have secondary roles like clearing out zones and blocking post reception. Sometimes Hollins will be the primary WR assuming his has the matchup.

690 yards in 646 passing snaps while playing 1030 snaps (94% of them)
Got him a quick ticket out of LV and in to a 18 catch season in Atlanta, which got a quick ticket out of there to Buffalo who didn’t bring him back either.

Knowledgeable fans understand that WRs primary function is to catch passes and a WR2 playing 94% of the snaps isn’t there to not be a receiving option.

Who cares about his WR2 numbers. He is not WR2 here and wasn’t signed to be. He’s likely #4 and he’s more than fine for that role.

We'll see what happens it wasn't what I wanted or expected but it seems like Hollins is set to be wr 3.

Hopefully Boutte, Williams, or Chiz can take reps from him soon because it's not like Hollins has some untapped potential he is what he is and 1 of those 3 should be better sooner rather than later just doesn't appear to be the case yet.

Here is every teams #3 leading WR from 2023, and by the way the median is 383 yards!!!!

Hollins is absolutely fine as a 3/4.

He is # 3 until someone else steps up.

Some people don't get that Hollins is here so that Boutte and Williams can be brought up slowly and not not thrown out there expecting them to produce immediately.

Yes they are different and worse than WR4 and 5 on other teams, although most treats choose to keep young players over proven non productive players.

So you are saying the coach made a decision, we no longer have a right to an opinion? When he runs 30 routes and catches 1 pass, that’s ok because Mike and Josh say so?
Really?
Why have a discussion board?
We always have a right to an opinion.

We even have a right to state the exact same opinion every day.

Hollins has never had more than 251 yards as a 3or 4. He was WR1 in Buffalo last year and only managed 378.

Diggs Boutte and Douglas are 1,2,3

You want the guy who produced 31 catches for 378 yards last year to play while the guy who produced 43 for 589 “can be brought along slowly”?
They played about that same number of snaps by the way.

I like the more productive guy.

His numbers any time he wasn’t a WR1or WR2 amount to this:

78 games
74 receptions
1001 yards.
On 1669 snaps.

So if as WR3 he plays 20 snaps a game you can count on
15 receptions for 203 yards all year.
Less than a catch a game. Yeah that’s more than fine for a wide receiver.

If you are correct, they will start along with Henry.
Don’t really care who starts but who plays the most snaps. Being in for the first play isn’t easy indicative of anything.

Wrong Wring
Great you disagree. Remember this one because there will be proof and you can’t make up that I said something I didn’t.
I’d be willing to bet the loser quits the site forever to get rid if you.
More snaps played per game this season Boutte or Hollins. (Minimum of playing at least 5 games to account for season ending injury)

Accept or cower?

No one suggested that Hollins would be the #3 for 5 games. Straw men as is often the case.

Huh? WTF are you talking about?

I included 5 games so the bet is nullified if a guy has an early season ending injury
