Did not think Cowboys would do it. But two first rounders is quite a haul.
I disagree. Two first rounders at the bottom of the round isn't really all that great for someone who is possibly the best defensive player in the league.

Hate to make it about Brady, but this goes to show his immense greatness & mastery of the game. He didn’t have any one of these guys on defense here in NE. None in almost 15 years & still won several championships. That’s insane.

How many championships have they won with Parsons.

And, I'm always leary of investing that much in 1 player. QB you have to, but what if Parsons tears a bicep of blows out a knee?
Sure, but it's the Boys. Nobody wins it all with the Boys. Not in this century.

Boys weren't winning **** this season. Don't love the trade but Jerruh ****ed this up so they had no choice.
I sure hope the Packers can give the Eagles a game now. We shall see.
Is Love gonna throw 3 picks in a playoff game? It won't matter how many sacks the defense has in that case!

We keep brining up Samuel's drop, but there were many problems leading up to that. The entire team and coaching choked that night.
We keep bringing it up because that diva had one ****ing job. Well, 2. 1) Don't drop the pick that hit you in the hands to seal the game. 2) Don't completely blow the coverage on the helmet catch (that was Asante's man, not Rodney's).

Draft picks are highly overrated in the face of actual talent. A team is likely to draft a decade and never get close to a Micah Parsons level player on defense. The last player our team drafted even close to Micah Parsons was Chandler Jones or Devin McCourty. Both over a decade ago. Unless your defense is stacked without him you don't drop him for the chance to maybe get two roleplayers who might be productive

That was tough to watch, but players were dropping INT's all game long. Like Delhomme early in the prior Super Bowl, the game looked too big for Eli. He tried his hardest to give the game to the Pats, but they wouldn't accept his gift. I counted at least 5 potential INT's which there were multiple on the first drive alone. Other plays included: Mike Vrabel failed to recover a strip sack from Adalius Thomas early in the game, BB not challenging Pierre Woods clear fumble recovery, Bill electing to go for it on 4th and 13 rather than kicking a field goal, Stephen Neal getting injured, the secondary allowing a player in Kevin Boss who had 9 total receptions on the year to rumble for 45 yards setting up Tyree's first catch of the year for a TD, Rodney Harrison dropping an INT before the two late Samuel plays, Brandon Merriweather dropping an INT around that time as well, Pees imploding and calling a zero blitz with little Hobbs on Burress and McDaniels having no answer for Spagnolo's game plan. It was a complete team meltdown. Then you have the refs completely missing the entire D-Line being held and Eli in the grasp which would've put the Giants in at least a 4th and 10 situation. The only game I seriously considered breaking my TV.

I didn't either because teams ******** us all the time. This is Khalil Mack all over again. People were outraged over the trade, but look how that turned out for him. Him being paid and staying on the Raiders was not going to help them win games. From 2014-2017, the Raiders were 28-36 with one playoff appearance and Wild Card exit. Then he was 34-31 with the Bears with two playoff appearances and two Wild Card exits. Now he's with the Chargers who are 26-25 with two Wild Card exits.

Comparing that to Parsons he's 42-22 when playing with 3 playoff appearance, one win and two Wild Card exits. Trading two firsts and paying Parsons $47M coming off an injury is idiotic.
Naw, no way a linebacker is worth two firsts unless he is another Lawrence Taylor and the Patriots need those first. I don't expect this will be a "down" year, but rather a very good year; it is a new team
He's not even the same class as DeMarcus Ware who was a maniac. He could lineup against any LT and manhandle them. Parsons dances around and has to find the matchup to get his Madden nano blitz sack.

how much will Abdul Carter get when his next contract is up

But...but...does he stop the run...
They SUCKED at it when he was there.
Just a thought.

I think Jerrah made this trade to give them the juice to trade up for the top QB in next years draft.

I think the picks will be in the early 20’s, and it always depends upon how you use them. I would take Hightower over Jones, they don’t win the Seattle or Atlanta Super Bowls without him. But I think Jerrah wanted the picks to go after a QB in the 26’ Draft, and multiple first rounders are the price to move up for one.

And Asante earned the derision, he was never as good as he thought he was.

I didn't see them winning 12 game again w/ Parsons anyway.
As great as Micah is Dallas was 31st in defense with him. They are a dak slip in the parking lot away from picking in the first round.

Greenbay is an established playoff team with love and Lafleur we are trying to get there. With contracts soon for gonzo, and Drake respectively the organization made the right decision. Dallas had no choice but to move Micah.

Green Bay drafts well, so who knows? Maybe they can navigate not having a number one pick until 2028.
True. Being that GB has established themselves as a play off team under love and they have some pieces. I don't think they are as dependent on picking in high rounds.
