I know that he is not a fit with the defense new iteration, but I still really like the player and know it was time to move on. It was him and not meI can’t stop you from falling in love with the wrong guy, my friend. It’s better for us just to “wait you out” and one day it’ll hurt a little less. Then, you’ll see that your ex with a cocaine habit and bad coverage skills wasn’t the right fit after all.
Dugger’s been pretty durable until last season and still played 13 games, mostly playing through injury. When Dugger limps off the field we are gonna wish Peppers was still here.
Don't like this move. But
In Vrabel we Trust!
Let's hope that is Mapu. Not so sure Duggar fits that role. Times are achanging.“These nickels are becoming the most important position – well, one of the most important positions,“ Vrabel said. ”It’s a play-making linebacker that blitz, that can cover, that’s instinctive.
Has anyone ever heard what cutting Jake Andrews was all about? He is the starting center for the Texans. We could have used him instead of Brown. And he is a great guy so it is very hard to believe it was an attitude thing.I haven't liked all of Vrabel's moves like cutting Jake Andrews, who was only entering his third year, and had been a high draft pick for his position.
Everyone is different. I care very very little about the players. I want my team to win. Sundays, in the winter, in the SB. I’d gladly trade the entire team for a SB this year.Thank you for the kind words, it helped. Edit: I am still not completely over Trading Curtis Martin
I agree. Vrabel said White played late in the preseason because he is working on some new moves. We will see if White is more than a power rusher. It all starts with power, but then there has to be more or the player is too predictable. It will be interesting to watch.I wouldn't hate White being cut... but it be interesting... basically his entire contract this year is GTD. But next year has basically no GTD money to speak of... so the question about cutting him simply comes down to is this team better with him on or off it.
Right now you have 5 edge guys... White may be the 5th currently behind even Ponder and Jennings. White is kind of built more like a DT on this team right now... At some point assuming Swinson continues to improve the question will be asked is this team better with him on the roster. And at some point this year i see that answer being yes.
The scheme is for defenders to play in gaps rather than wrestle with OLinemen, so they don’t need to be so big. Smaller and faster. This is how 90% of the league plays D and has for sometime. But the linebackers are smaller and faster. Is our line equipped to stop the run?
They didn't trade him, he was signed to a poison pill offer sheet the Pats felt too risky to match. Martin could've opted out after the 1998 season and sign elsewhere while the Pats wouldn't receive any compensation. Although I absolutely hated it, it had to happen for Belichick and Brady to land there. It's the butterfly effect. If the Pats had Martin, they would've had a better record than 1-3 against the Parcells/Martin combo. Bledsoe may not of split his thumb against the Dolphins and find a way to stay on top of the AFCE. Assuming they have Martin, do they trade up a few spots and take Randy Moss or Vonnie Holliday in 1998? Or do they stick with their pick and take Tebucky Jones?Edit: I am still not completely over Trading Curtis Martin
NEM was a poster who is no longer with us. When he was here, he was argumentative as f**k. NEM 2.0 is Andy but there is some debateLate to the party. Who is NEM 2.0?
He’s the starting C because Houston has no one else. He did nothing for 2 years. He will probably get injured againHas anyone ever heard what cutting Jake Andrews was all about? What the.
What on earth is going on. Very odd roster management to say the least. Starting safety released a week before game 1 but AFTER cutdowns and a whole training camp?
Also…are we sure this is real?
Center is too often an afterthought when building a team and how many teams are lacking at the center position. I was really happy the Pats were able to steal Jared Wilson in the 2025 draft, but for all of the justified gnashing of teeth over missing out on Ladd McConkey, the Pats could have made the same trade and drafted Jackson Powers-Johnson, who went #44, instead of Ja’Lynn Polk, who it appears his release is just delayed for one year due to his injury. He’s the starting C because Houston has no one else. He did nothing for 2 years. He will probably get injured again

I never knew that re : wife lolNEM ain’t no Andy 2.0. He was one of a kind….a class unto himself!
Andy just provides quoting rebuttals ad nauseum. NEM would have his wife log on to support his persecution complex! (True ****in’ story, BTW).
R.I.P., NEM.
