Insane. I'm actually happy for the Cowboys - which is hard for me to say.
But, they did the right thing to get rid of him. We'll see what happens in GB, but can't believe this deal will end up being worth it.

So much for the Bears making the playoffs.

Jerry the GM fleeced GB.

I mean…he was on point…

I literally said this last week in a different thread. Packers were one of the few teams where a trade like this made sense.

What do you Pat fans think of this?
Great move by the Packers, who desperately needed talent on Defense at any position. And you got rid of Kenny Clark who'd been whining all preseason in the process. Love's huge money doesn't kick in until 2027, so your window is right now.

I thought I was the only one. I had some battles on YouTube comment section over that.
Polamalu was no slouch of course, but as much as his “instincts” were praised for a few big hits each game, he also was good for a few dumbass over pursuits and poor reads each game too because of his initial over commitment. The Steelers lore and the wavy hair sure helped him.

It’s asinine that he is a comparison as an adversary to a guy like Ed Reed during that era at the other safety position. I don’t think anyone with a functioning brain puts him over Reed though, hopefully.

In what universe is 2 first round picks "nothing"?
Low first rounders in the 22-32 range vs for a dynamic game changing sure fire pro bowl disruptor.

“Nothing” was meant as hyperbole, but in the end these low first rounders are far from a sure thing
Parsons is a sure thing at one of the ganes most important position and in his prime

Love the player. I don't think he is worth what they gave up. If the cap keeps going up at the rate it is he is probably worth the contract. But the fact is it is hard for a single defensive player to make the kind of impact that money says he needs to. The only recent player I believe to be worth such a contract who is defensive would be prime Aaron Donald.

Parsons being on the edge makes him less valuable. He's further from the football and the action. Many of his sacks take longer and many of his pressures aren't as disruptive. Add in the 2 first round picks and getting a guy who is a pro bowl caliber (potentially.. he went to 3 before) back and this is a big win for the cowboys, not to mention the cap space.
