Game Day Thread 2025 Preseason week 3: Giants game

I think Vrabels game plan was super vanilla other than trying to see how a few guys looked one more time before cut day….Pats looked great first two games …..wouldn’t panic over this one.

I’d feel more discouraged if we didn’t have the nice outings we had the two previous games.

Next to nobody in the second half when the wheels fell off.

First half wasn’t great, but at least some of those second stringers in the game played well enough.

That movie is like the most expensive cheap movie I have ever seen. Just one big webcam that looks like it has lower quality than those 90's amateur webcam porn but futuristic in that it doesn't have buffering issues lol.

They don't have any depth. That's why I've been hoping people would pump the damn brakes on this being a playoff team. You're not fixing this thing in one season.

Our last units versus some Giants starters including Dart who is already their best QB. Probably too early for your take.

I like Jiles, he dropped a couple tonight, but he has good size and moves well. Hope he sticks around on the PS. Even over Baker tbh.

Jiles dropping passes is repeated entirely too often. Keep Webb on the PS… he’s got speed.

Vrabel’s press conference:

- Peppers out there because he wanted to see he and Woodson playing together at safety
- Whit out there because he told White there were things he wants to see White work on.
- disappointed with execution tonight, but thought they had good practices this week
- short week (Saturday to Thursday) combined with good practices led to decision to not play starters
- wants to know “who the rats are” that are letting people know about IR status of Polk.…

Preseason does matter. This isn't good. Fine, lose the game, but the players and coaching staff are getting embarrassed. Bedard was saying this team has no depth. Here's the proof.
