Pharms
Jones
Jennings

Never forget that around the turn of the century there was a man named Ray Lewis and it's quite possible that with the aide of his clique may or may not have killed a guy.

Jones.
Marcus Jones will make the 53.

I wonder if Mapu and Tavai are playing for one spot or if there is room for both.

Pharms
Jones
Jennings
Jones and Pharms are roster locks. Jennings I think is on the trade block, and Mapu, I dunno, I think he sneaks on just as a depth piece.

C'mon man. Allowing multiple votes and not including the de rigueur option? WTH

I've been posting here for over 20 years. I have never included that option.

And with that expansive sense of humor I have no doubt your company is highly prized at gatherings

I think it's Mapu. His positional versatility between S and LB fits Vrabel and his DC's defensive approach very nicely.

@nd choice would be Pharms.

Jeremiah Pharms Jr. and Truman Jones are most likely IMHO, to make the Team.

I believe he's asking about Truman Jones
Agreed Truman makes the roster his pass rush and versatility in the rotation has been impressive.. I am still up in the air on mapu.. the downfall of Dugger makes me believe he will make the 53.. he's just such a versatility chess piece you'd love to have..

Pharms
Jones
Jennings
Jennings was playing in the 4th quarter last week.. if he's playing there again this week he'll be on the cut list... Pharms and Jones are making the roster both guys are good rotational rushers.. Jones can play all over the defensive line.

Here is where i am right now.

QB (2) Drake Maye, Joshua Dobbs
RB (3) Rhamondre Stevenson, Antonio Gibson, TreVeyon Henderson
TE (3) Hunter Henry, Austin Hooper, Jack Westover
WR (6) Stefon Diggs, Demario Douglas, Mack Hollins, Kyle Williams, Kayshon Boutte, Efton Chism III
C (2) Garrett Bradbury, Ben Brown
G (3) Mike Onwenu, Jared Wilson, Tyrese Robinson
T (4) Will Campbell, Morgan Moses, Marcus Bryant, Demontrey Jacobs
ED (6) Harold Landry, K’Lavon Chaisson, Keion White, Truman Jones, Elijah Ponder, Bradyn Swinson
DT (5) Christian Barmore, Milton Williams, Joshua Farmer, Khyiris Tonga, Jeremiah Pharms Jr.
ILB (4) Robert Spillane, Christian Elliss, Marte Mapu, Jack Gibbens
CB (5) Christian Gonzalez, Carlton Davis, Alex Austin, D.J. James, Marcus Jones
DS (5) Jaylinn Hawkins, Jabrill Peppers, Craig Woodson, Kyle Dugger, Dell Pettus
ST (4) Bryce Baringer, Julian Ashby, Brenden Schooler, Andres Borregales

Total Players: 52

53rd player is either Baker - WR Riley - LB or Tavai - LB... Probably Baker or Riley.

(Going from bottom up)

I feel pretty good about this 52... considering their injury potential in the secondary and the lack of a likely worthy return i don't see them trading Dugger this year. Nor do I see a 10th DB worth carrying. Pettus is the 10th due to his STs and that he wouldn't be totally lost out there i think.

I think they for sure keep one of Mapu Tavai if not both. I think Mapu is ahead and can do that tweener role well potentially.

At DT no surprises. Pharms i think is a guy they should carry still.

On Edge they go a bit heavy. I've toyed with the idea of Swinson making the PS... it is possible... but i don't think it is likely. He hasn't shown what we've hoped. But he has had enough flashes to give him a red shirt year. Ponder is coming on well now and i don't want to risk him either. So much potential.

On the OL Jacobs has shown some improvement over last year. Still not someone you want to see in meaningful action... but roster worthy probably. On G... I guess Tyrese is ahead... no one is a good option here... They have some work to do at this spot imo. Brown is the best interior back up option, and that says a lot, mostly bad.

I think right now these 6 are locks at WR. Baker making a good case for a 7th.

Westover plays a bit of everything.. TE. FB and STs.

RB is a spot we need to do some work on when it is WW time. Try to find a good emergency guy.

Dobbs is still the back up... he is known to be very streaky. If he has to play, just hope he is having a good day.

A well thought out, great list, just what we have come to expect from you BobDigital

I agree that we need a fourth RB. Henderson looks awesome but he might be more effective in rotation with a bigger back, with our improve OL (especially for the run) I hope for a big year from Stevenson but if he is injured we will be up the creek with only Gibson as a backup. I would have felt completely comfortable with Lan Larison as a fourth, but c'est la vie

My question is: do you think someone suitable will be available on WW, or is it worth sending a 6th or 7th to some team for a reliable backup RB that we can trust in a pinch?

I've given up on Mapu. Not eager to trade Jennings.

Ben Brown, Tyrese Robinson, Demontrey Jacobs, Brady Swinson, Marte Mapu and maybe Dell Pettus are candidates for making room for new players at cutdown date. Keep Jennings and Maybe Dugger. Not big on Dobbs but kind of stuck with him now. Forgot about Tavai. add him to the list.

That doesn't make it right.
If Ian wants to make it a requirement for all polls, I will certainly comply. Until then, the option when chosen can be interpreted in many ways, including the most obvious being "I choose to ignore your poll, look elsewhere for opinions".
