We must remind ourselves the Commanders gave up 55 to the Eagle last time They played, not a good defense.

However, the one thing all training camp that's been overlooked with Maye is he's processing at an elite level. I read a report the other day on this. He's almost always making the right decision. This is key to all pro QB play. People thinking he has had accuracy issues with 1-2 throws here and there are insane. Mahomes has several throws like that a game. Not relevant to accuracy, Maye has incredible accuracy. Give him and average line and receivers he will cook.

This is not the same Commanders' defense either. They've added the likes of Wise, Kinlaw, and Jacob Martin.

Kinlaw and Martin are Upgrades. Hell, Wise is an upgrade over Clellin Ferrell.

No Surprise Pop could be a 1000yds Receiver with good health. Pop should be unrecoverable.

Amazing that you want this guy to fail.
He ended the day with a 25 yard one hander from Dobbs. Got to be his best play so far.

Other than Pop this WR battle is wide open.

Commanders are probably shocked at how well the Pats are practicing. Probably pissing them off.
"Haha we made the NFC Championship Game last year, we are awesome! Now we're practicing against these Patriot scrubs? They won what, 4 games? We are gonna roast them"

Commanders proceed to get smoked on both sides of the ball

"This makes me angry enough to hit someone!"

As some others have said - these Patriots receivers may well be auditioning for both teams today. The Commanders have needs at WR and may pay a decent price in a trade if they liked what they saw from some of these players.

I want the Younger Javon Baker to succeed more upside.
It looks like Diggs, Boutte, Pop, Baker, Hollins and Chism right now. I know I have pound the dead horse, but Hollins is a football player thru and thru. You're 100% sleeping on every other aspect of him as a complete football player. I'm pleased to see that Baker looks like he's got his head out of his ass so far, but there's a lot of football left before Labor Day. As of today, Polk and Bourne look like they are out.

Bourne wasn't there and he seems like he's at the bottom right now. We might be liking Baker enough to keep him. And Polk didn't do anything today.
