Hot takes even though I wasn't there, but I did read the thread.
1 Good to hear about Dobbs. Looks like we have a solid back up and you NEED one because these days they all seem to end up starting a game or more.
2. Of course I love all the good posts about the offense. But I would point out that usually in these joint practices teams use very vanilla defenses and of course they aren't game planned, so the offense usually has the edge. So while I'm happy with the results, this offense has a LONG way to go.
3 Also I don't put a lot of value of who is running with the ones or twos. Today's moves at RT show just how arbitrary that is. Sometimes coaches want to see how certain combinations work.
4. I'm hoping some of the Campbell nonsense starts to erode some with his performance today. Looking good, not perfect like some people demand, but good overall.
5. I have mixed emotions about Wilson at LG. I'm happy he is performing well, but quite frankly if he really is THAT good an OLman, I'd rather him be playing C just because a great C is more valuable than a great G.
6. Maybe the Commanders' WRs suck, but without our 2 starters at CB, the back ups held up pretty well.
7. Good to hear a few Landry flashes.
8. And finally - I guess I can assume that they didn't do any running after practice.
BTW- The reports on Vrabel's pile on, and blood on his face put a BIG smile on my face. I can relate to that one.
