WOW.. Talk about being full of it.

David Andrews played 14 games as a rookie in 2015. He was NOT placed on IR that year.
Brandon Bolden played 10 games as a rookie. He missed 6 games because the team deactivated him for 2 and he was suspended for 4 by the NFL. Not placed on IR.
Darryl Roberts was IRed and then Waived in his rookie year, only to be claimed by the Jets. He played 12 games that year for them. So, it doesn't fit the scenario mentioned.
JaQuae Jackson - Was IRed. Never suited up for the Pats. Again. Doesn't fit.
Malcolm Butler was a UDFA. He was inactive for 5 games. He was not IRed. So that doesn't fit.

So, you're 0-fer..
That’s AI bro they let me down, I didn’t check.

the NFL league rules are kind of grey here
especially for an undrafted free agent.
Lampe received a signing bonus, which he got all of his money.
an injury settlement would cover all, or portions of his remaining contract. the player must wait thru the duration of the covered settlement portion, plus typically 3 weeks.
Lampe could sign back with the Pats, or any team, after waiting out the covered allotted time frame

Thanks.

That three weeks applies only to the team paying out the injury settlement. A player can sign with any other team as soon as the settlement period is over. In any case, Lampe got $15K signing bonus and $40K in salary guarantees beyond that.

Does anyone know what is wrong with him, injury I assume, but nothing seems to have been said. Am I missing something?
