The Athletics' Chad Graff posted a nice little puff piece of Stef Diggs... at the end of the article, he surmises that Diggs will (possibly?) start the season on the PUP list due to the ACL injury he suffered last year... from the article:

If he does start the season on the PUP, then we are off to a slow start points wise... To my thinking, it doesn't really matter if he isn't 100% at the beginning of the year, as long as he's on the field... If he is there, teams need to account for him... Scratch CB1 from the opposing defenses having to cover a decoy... If he is not there though, given the overall average WR talent we have, defenses can again try to stack the box to slow the offense down...
The upcoming Training Camp will provide us a real look into how far along he is in terms of recovery... What will his work load be... Hows he look in one on ones, scrimmages, etc... Camp can't come soon enough...
It always seemed likeliest that Diggs would open the season on the physically unable to perform list (meaning he’d be out at least the first four games), but perhaps the optimism from his spring performances can translate to an increased role in camp and maybe even open the door for Diggs to open the season on the Week 1 roster.

Can Stefon Diggs be the No. 1 WR the Patriots desperately need?
What can New England actually expect from a 31-year-old receiver who is coming off an ACL tear?
