If the organization kept mayo, AVP then they would have been doing Drake a disservice. By recognizing the mistake with mayo and getting a real staff in here is doing right by the kid.

He played over former pro-bowler and starting quarterback Mac Jones so I'd say he's a top 3 NFL QB.

Out of 11 example, 10 players are matched with skin colour. I am sure it is just a coincidence!

My floor for Maye is to cut out the choker plays late in games when he needs to do something. That was a massive red flag that I am attributing to rookie stuff, purely as a homer. If he was a Jet, I would say he has all the hallmarks of a choker!

Yes, scary to say the least. The last few seasons even going back to when BB was here.. never felt right, it seemed as if there was always something off with the team.

Some hope and optimism has been restored to Foxboro and I hope to see it translate to the field.

Drake Maye - Ceiling = Brett Favre. Floor - Kordell Stewart. Favre gets a lot of hate on this board, but I'll take 10-12 wins, playoffs every year, two conference titles, and a super bowl win any day of the week. If Maye's (and the Pats) next 10 years mirror Favre's Green Bay from 93-02 I think we would all be very happy.
As for Kordell Stewart, I also think Maye could go completely bust with McDaniels because i'm not sure sure Maye is "heady" enough for the complex mcdaniels system.

I think his floor is above Lawrence. Lawrence is not very good.
CJ Stroud is probably his floor.

Talent and coaching around a QB can make a big difference.
