Apples to oranges. Comparing a part time special teams role to duties integral to playing a position are two totally separate things.
If you say so.

You have to wonder how long these writers have been sitting on these dumb articles, just to release in the dead zone between the NBA finals and the start of training camp.

He's maxed out at like 3 snaps in a game on offense.
In this case it's probably recycled and tweaked from last off-seasons version too. But that doesn't undo the exciting plays he's made in all 3 phases how many players in history can claim a score in all 3 phases? Here's to this year being the year he puts it all together. I personally think he's going to be an electric player but if it doesn't more consistently happen this year then the clock will start running a lot faster on him. With a team still searching for its stars I still consider him to have as much potential as anyone other than Maye, Mitch, or Gonzo.

I'd like to see him focus strictly on returns and situational matchups at CB. The reason he had snaps on offense was because the offense was so desperate to move the ball. I don't see the need for him at this point with the additions of Diggs, Williams and Henderson.
Yeah hopefully narrowing his focus just to slot on D helps him. I'd use him on STs for both KR and PR but I think Henderson might do the KRs. And I definitely agree hopefully there isn't the need on offense however even still I'm not against it as nice little wrinkle.

Did not see this mentioned previously. Only 1 pic but striking.

I agree, this is interesting . When LeVeon Bell went from a heavy RB to a much lighter RB it led to a major increase in production.

As a 244-pound rookie in 2013, Bell rushed for 860 yards. After shedding 20 pounds, he put up a 1,361-yard performance and nearly doubled his receptions (45/83), which earned him Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors.Oct 9, 2023

Mondre is a BEAST if he has blocking, the fumbling last year was a SERIOUS PROBLEM, but I think it was an aberration, and he'll be much better- I'm sure Vrabel told him.
Mondre had 62 Catches a few years ago, he's not just a bull, he's a decent pass catcher.
He's a 3 down back IMO.
Some of you have given up on him...OK. I HAVEN'T.

Tatooine's twin sons going to be a dominant duo!

Often fumbling comes from trying to do too much instead of just going down.

And Vrabel commented that some of the fumbling was because of poor blocking:

“We can look back and say, ‘Yeah, Rhamondre had some issues holding on to the football that year.’ But we also didn’t finish two or three blocks on the backside that allowed the second guy to come in as he’s trying to make somebody miss, or he’s trying to stiff arm somebody,” Vrabel said. “We’ve got somebody that’s not protecting the guy with the ball. And so it’s my job to, one, show them and explain to them that, yeah, Rhamondre has a job. He understands that, and trust me, we’ve talked to him and we will talk to him about that.

“But we also have an obligation for the rest of the guys to protect the guy who has the ball, whether that’s Drake (Maye), Rhamondre, Kayshon (Boutte), Ja’Lynn (Polk), Hunter (Henry), whoever we throw it to, everybody else has still got a job.”

Edit: I'd add that this comment is very different than Belichick's doghouse treatment for fumbles (or being late for something through no real fault of your own). Much more player-centric, treating players as adults instead of misbehaving 5-year-olds that need to be disciplined.

That may help, but it was the Steelers OL that was the main reason for this. There were clearing Grand Canyon sized holes for the RB's. In the 2015 opener against the Pats, the Steelers OL were blowing the Pats DL off the LOS with ease. The 32 year old D'Angelo Williams was jogging his way to 127 yards at 6 yards a carry. Bell also need A LOT of touches to pad his stats.

Once Bell left the Steelers, he was shocked to find out his couldn't do the feet shuffling thing he did previously. When the blocking wasn't up to par like it was with the Jets and teams made him think quickly, he was dead to rights. The most overrated player of the 2010's.
