It's crazy to see posts saying he'd clear waivers. Last year he proved to be a legit NFL WR who belongs on a 53. Many teams would likely jump at the chance to take on the last two years of his rookie 6th-round deal. Barring injury or some off-field incident, he is a lock to start the year on a 53-man roster.
A lot of the reps I see, Boutte is right there with Diggs. Thats not by accident.

Yes, Yes, and Yes again!!!

Getting some praise from the head coach validates some of the hype. This train is about to start traveling faster and faster.

Great to hear a positive update on Williams.

And I think we've all wanted to see Mapu at LB a little.

With the logjam we have at WR (9 for 6 spots), Polk and Diggs should both be put on the PUP list now, and Baker to the PS later. That leaves us with a pretty good group of Bourne, Boutte, Williams, Hollins, Douglas and Chism. After week 4, Diggs comes back, forcing a move. Polk at that point likely goes onto IR.

I just re-watched all his catches from last year. He has pretty good hands and is not afraid to get down and get the ball. He is not a YAC receiver but neither was Meyers. I would like to see him get a little lighter/better shape this year as I think it would help him. I don't see him not being on the team unless something crazy happens.

Sounds like Hollins is a candidate for PUP too. He has quietly missed every session so far, supposedly because of his shoulder.

- Streakier day for Drake Maye and the offense. Pressure, separation, and accuracy all factored in- Christian Gonzalez caught a one-handed INT on a go ball to Kyle Williams

- Hunter Henry had the play of the day for the offense, making a one-handed grab on a crosser with Peppers in coverage. Looked like Maye’s second read

- DeMario Douglas caught a crosser against Carlton Davis for a 3rd down conversion

- Marcus Jones broke up a corner to Kyle Williams after the WR seemingly hauled it in to prevent a TD

- Andres Borregales went 4-4 on FGs while Parker Romo went 3-4
