When you’re a supporter, you should be able to alter that tag to whatever you’d like it to be.

Reflex - Do you have an issue using Paypal or just with creating the account. If it's the former, I understand.

I ask because only 1 of the options Ian has listed requires you to have a Paypal account. All the others have an option of paying with Debit or Credit as a guest.

I should probably look into Stripe at some point. I just normally don't really do enough transactions to keep it active, or at least that was one of the things I thought I saw someone mention. They said their account ended up automatically closing due to inactivity. Not sure if anyone else has any experience with that, but I'd be curious to know if that's indeed true.

However, to keep the site going, he pays for much of the upkeep himself. But there is a way for YOU to donate as well. The donations go to upkeep of the server and the licensing for the board program.

To make a donation, Click on your username up in the Right-Hand corner. Then click on Account Upgrades.

Good call. It's been a minute since I actually donated. I think I used to have it on recurring and then something happened(?)

In any event, two notes:

1. A compromised PayPal has a slightly more limited range of exploitation opportunity than a credit card. Also, PayPal information is stored on their servers, where credit cards could possibly be stored on the site of whatever vendor you're using. Since these vendors are hit with various cyberattacks on the daily, the more your credit card is out there, the higher the likelihood it'll wind up on a dark web forum someday. It's one point of vulnerability at PayPal and x points of vulnerability using a credit card, where x is the number of sites that store your credit card info.

2. I see that abiding by the code of conduct is stuck behind an asterisk. I feel, as a fan of the New England Patriots, that I am duty bound to ignore asterisks where they are found. So I will not be adhering to a code of conduct....I haven't read it anyway
