Anyone on the inside can you answer this question. Moss locker up with Brady. Just curious....

Why does it matter?
In my opinion and what Randy Moss has said is that he wanted a locker next to Brady to know what Brady was thinking on every play and ask questions and collaborate. He needed to immediately learn his quarterback first hand and get on the same page hypertheticly. Diggs is our #1 receiver, would you agree? Would you agree that we would like to have a 1k yards min this season from Diggs? So to Me the #1 priority for this seasons offense is to get these 2 professionals as our leading weapons, to coin a phrase, (weaponize the offense). He should be Maye's Binky . When we need a first down or a td. B.T.W. that combo (Brady/Moss) had 23 TDs that season.

Brady was 30 going into his 8th year, and had won 3 Super Bowls already.
That's why Moss wanted to get on the same page.
The dynamic with Maye and Diggs is completely different.

Not buying it. Brady even thou he had 3 Superbowls would chat with Moss in private on mistakes after practice. These Top wide outs do not like to get embarrassed and for sure want to rise as to be the man. Maye, like Brady has to learn different receivers get different approaches. Vrabel should be aware of locker room dynamics. Look up an article in 2020, the most desirable locker in NFL history. Great details...

Campbell on one side Bradbury on the other lol
If you sticking your hand under another man’s sweaty sack 30 times a game. You should sit next to him lol

Interestingly enough, Brady requested it; otherwise Moss would've been in the 80s with the other receivers. Also, Welker wasn't on the other side; Matt Cassel was.

Brady was an elite seasoned veteran with three Super Bowl rings by 2007. It was Brady's offense and if Brady went to McDaniels and say he wanted to do something with Moss, McDaniels would incorporate it in the offense. Brady could also give Moss insight of the offense that Moss might not know.

This is a totally different situation. Maye is in his second year and learning a new offense. Not sure Maye will have all that much input on the offense. I am sure he will get some say of what he is comfortable or not with in the offense, but I doubt he will get the freedom to suggest to McDaniels things that they might experiment with him and Diggs.

I think Diggs could serve as a mentor to Maye, but I would probably want him being a mentor to the young receivers in the room rather than Maye. I think that is where he would be more effective. As long as he could be a positive influence, I would rather have him having his locker next to Kyle Williams than Drake Maye.

Sit Hunter Henry next to him.

I suppose this makes sense probably a good idea for Dobbs to be on one side of Maye.

Diggs is going to make Drake's life much easier this season. He may not be the old Diggs, but he'll be reliable.

Since Moss was brought up, I love how Moss blocked a trade from Oakland that was going to send him to GB. He told Oakland, he's only playing for Tom Brady in NE. Bill got wind of it and that's how the trade happened. It's unreal how they never won a Super Bowl with Moss. I was re-watching the early games in 2010 and his presence alone was clearing out grand canyon sized holes for everyone else. The Rex Ryan game plan wouldn't have worked of clogging the middle and forcing passes outside in that divisional loss. Trading Moss was a massive mistake. Bill should've ignored his contract dispute and let the season play out. That would've been the year they won.

Moss asked Brady to ask Bill from his video. Moss met Brady secretly in Minnesota and told him he wanted to ball with him.

Ok. I get your point. Makes sense. To me most of our receivers won't be here in the fall. Wasted use of Diggs. We need all Pro Diggs strapped and loaded against the Raiders for this offense or it is sputtering badly. McDaniels knows it in his head also. Unknown possible talent vs a proven commodity. Headline should read " Drake and Diggs brings Patriots 1 2 high-powered punch offense to Foxboro"
